      2Q16, fine.
      When's the iPad ETA?

@Remy LEROY the second point is explained in a way. Read it again and ask yourself, which one of the eight does not fit?

    4. Remy LEROY on

First, third, fourth.... and what is the second point you kept sealed?

      Good news? bad news?

Is it a clue to solve the puzzled T-shirt???

I had a feeling that was coming. As I've said before - take all the time you need to be happy with it. Good and polished! No rushing! Can't wait! Also the spoiler warning was well appreciated. No idea what you said below it so I'm glad it was there. :)

I'm OK with it been late ..but this info would have been knows months ago ,and you should have told us in Update 50 at the start of October
its a sad day when when you find out it will be late ,but it will be made and played someday

Rand! I want a Cyan hoodie! ;-) Keep up the good work Cyan!

      @Nick Roberts
Some people don't actually understand the concept of Kickstarter. I'm still waiting on a game that should have released almost 2 years ago. I'm probably not going to get it but I really don't care because when I backed the project I bought into the idea of a game, not the actual game.

The fact that Cyan is only ~6 months behind schedule is super exciting to me as they seem very dedicated to actually getting the game into our hands. Keep up the good work, guys!

If you'd like an explanation for how "estimated" dates and our design process work, please see the Development blog:….

I'm also working on the next Dev blog post that explains why and how "the Machete" meetings work. It's not as bad a y'all are thinking... unless it's _your_ idea that's getting optimized. :)

Games can change in development, causing delays, money problems, etc. As great as CYAN is, they can't predict the future. Many great games have hit big roadblocks, but came out great in the end. Heck, even $1M dollars today for a game is nothing!

Be patient and understanding. These guys aren't EA, they are CYAN! A small team of great guys and gals that are passionate and making this game for us!

Cyan asked for $1.1 mil and got $1,321,306... and it still wasn't enough. WOW! And it's late with the release date. WOW.

Thanks for the video and the update! A question... will the composer be revealed anytime soon? I'm dying to know :D

@Cyan thanks for the updates most appreciated. Look forward to Thursday as testing always throws up a spanner or two. Cheers guys.

Fine by me. I've worked in the industry long enough to understand. Take all the time you need guys. I would like to know the answer to Tipster's question however. Specifically: which version is currently planned.

    19. Colton Clayton on

They did say in a prior update that what they worked on delayed them by six months, so second quarter 2016 isn't that surprising. Still glad to know. Can't wait for this game to be released.

    20. Brandie on

      Thank you for the update!

P.S. I grew up in a house of four kids and got plenty of seconds- but only because I was the oldest. :D

Not desperately impressed with the very extended ship date - which could be anything up to the 30th June 2016! I'd get a severe kicking from my customers if I let a project slip by 6 months!

      Tipster on

So does this big delay mean that you are now working on the much anticipated expanded version of the game instead of just prettying up the original version? Are we getting the expanded version?

    23. Acorn on

Pleased to meet you all! (I feel I know some of you better than others.)

"Backers (et al)" -- I take it you've resigned yourselves to seeing every update get shared on news sites almost immediately. Sad to see that it'll be out so late, but I guess it'll coincide well with the Rift's release. So that's cool.

HA! Got ya beat. I grew up in a house with EIGHT brothers and was the only girl on the ranch! I was lucky to get firsts!!

Hmmm, I think the second point is: 'quarter of 2016'

Hurray! A target date! I'll print it out and put it under my pillow.

I think the fourth point was supposed to be a joke to point out why there was no second point.

What is the second point? Haha
