Spiel fair booth 1-G125

Tomorrow till sunday I am at the Spiel fair in Essen (Germany).
Visitors can play *Factory Funner&Bigger* and *Habitats 3rd Edition* and *Roll-To-The-Top* at Cwali-booth 1-G125. 3 tables fit in the booth, 1 table for each game.

To backers who pick up their game(s) at the fair: Bring a print, ID and/or backer number, and don't forget your name. :)

- The games to the German sender should arrive there today. Hope it gets sent to you soon, will not be this week.
- For the games to the US I got an absurd calculation for shipping to a US sender (4 times higher than normal), must get a better calculation first. Let me know if you are an expert in ocean transport. And let me know if you know a good fulfillment company at the US East coast.

(Roll-To-The-Top may sell out at the fair.)

@mmculber: The work at it goes fast. The info still is the same as yesterday, here below.

@creator- What would be the estimated delivery date to US backers? It wasn't clear from the updates. Thx!

@Taran: Yes if more is clear. In short now:
      - Expansion(s)-only, in enveloppes, worldwide: These get sent very soon.
      - Games not-US: Everything is at the German sender. They are very busy this week with projects which were prepared earlier. I hope they can send next week.
      - Games US: The games will get sent to a US East-coast fulfillment place. Estimated transport time from Europe is about 15 days instead of the earlier planned 32 days to the West-coast. (Days at sea I guess, in practice with picking up and reaching the final place it will take longer I assume.) It saves me EUR 7,- per backer address, not important for you but then you understand that I wanted to re-calculate the planning. (The earlier planned fulfillment company had plans to get a hub in both West and East USA, but that didn't happen yet.) At the moment I didn't receive the calculations of a few more companies which are calculating, but I don't think the current plan will change much. In a few days I decide final and ship the games!

Will you provide another status update on shipping to the various regions? Thanks!

Back from Essen. Fair was super with Factory Funner&Bigger, Habitats and Roll-To-The-Top! In the game transport and fulfillment business everyone is overloaded around the Essen-fair days, and some holiday days in Germany. I hope your games get sent soon!
Roll-To-The-Top! sold out thursday already. At the fair days we got the impression it's a super game too. :) At the moment we work at a new special pad called Roll-To-The-Top&Bottom. Nothing planned yet, but follow me at KS to be informed if a new crowdfund starts.

I'm not understanding the shipping difficulty. Since this is the 3rd edition, I would think shipping would be easy by now.

Wondering as well what you mean with the print.
Haven't received any kind of mail or something that would suggest I need to print it out to bring for the pickup.

The German sender got the games today. They are busy with other delivery projects now, and with the Spiel-fair etc. My games were planned to arrive there in September. Mistakes and slowness by the artist caused delay which wasn't compensated by the factory too. Can happen. Still not a bad time path but it could go faster. October is the worst time to release a game/version/printrun, but let's make the best of it. :)

I second Patrick's recommendation for Quartermaster Logistics.

@Fan: No time to answer more detailed but this is always some last-minute thing since the precise game weights/numbers/pallets are known only at the end. Hope it gets solved soon.
This is a reason why I in general don't tell precise which factories, transporters and fulfillment companies are involved. Because when that's not flexible, they can in theory ask anything for the unknown or unexpected costs. ;)

Ummm, you mean you didn't have a shipping company already arranged/contracted with before now?
