Passed Wednesday I got a good 3D file with the improved inlay for Factory Funner.
Last info Tuesday about the Factory Funner cardboard tiles: "I´m still waiting for the final print proofs of FFB from our production. We are currently absolutelly overloaded with many games to be printed out for Essen show. This is no excuse, just fyi that we are working on all data so hard. I still push and keep you informed continuously."
While I chose this European factory to get it fast, could have saved 10K with production in China and getting it later.
Hope for better news Monday.
I just read the rest. Yes it sounds like enough room. Minerva like I was saying needs full use of the wells and where the bigger one was okay, the smaller could have been made as deep as the bigger, but wasn't. Someone printed a visual way to pack stuff, but the tiles were laying flat and would be subject to shifting about in the box.
Habitats. Sorry I was not more clear.
@Richard: Which of the two?
With Habitats all park tiles fit standing diagonally in the long slot (one end is diagonal). The Start Entrance tiles and the Yearly Goal tiles fit well in their spaces. The other part is for the score board, much room left there for expansion tiles? :) Unpunched the cardboard sheets and rulebook fit precise above the inlay.
With Habitats the box will be 75mm high instead of the 45mm in the photo. The 5 folded factory boards are 10 layers of cardboard already.
See the tiles in the boxes in the former Update #7.
Not sure the insert looks deep enough. Have you tried it with some tiles in it standing on end? I backed "Minerva" and they had room to make the wells deeper, to hold the bits, but as it is, it is hard to pack away to make them fit.
