Belfry is forgetful, accident-prone, and not ready for responsibility, but a snap decision to take in a young, abandoned creature will change her life forever.
In Treehollow, Belfry is well known as the bat with a heart of gold and penchant for accidents. All the residents love her and fear her in equal measures. So of course when she literally stumbles across a strange creature who seems to be some kind of abandoned kit, she wants to care for it… but is she truly up to the task? Or will it die a horrifying, accident-related death?
Tamberlane is rated PG for comedic violence and references to salty language. You can read it online here!

...You'll probably like Tamberlane!
The first chapter of Tamberlane is 42 full-color pages, complete with fuzzy animals, doofy expressions, and an adorable baby! All of Chapter 1 is already complete. All that's left is to gather fanart, finish some extras, and put the book together.
Included in this printing will be another 10+ pages of concept art, guest comics, fan art, author commentary, and character Q&A. There will even be a full piece of never-before-seen art exclusive to the Print version! That means it won't even show up in the PDF!
This is a very modest project: I'm only aiming to get 100 copies printed, so I'm looking to raise $1300. The cost breakdown is thus:
Any money earned beyond the goal will go towards buying more books, covering unexpected campaign expenses, and helping to cover my living costs while I continue to make the comic.
The tiers are as follows:
Note: both the Piper keychain and one of the sticker sheets in the $100 tier will be Kickstarter-exclusive!
If you want to back multiple tiers, choose one to back. Once your pledge is recorded, click Manage Your Pledge and increase the amount you're pledging by the extra amount. Don't forget to include shipping!
After the campaign, your survey will have an extra question for how you want to spend your extra backer dollars!
Rewards will NOT be delivered in time for the holidays 2016, sadly. But you can always do what we do and print out a picture to give them!
We have here some stretch goals!!! Wowee-zowee!! As we hit each milestone the next one will be revealed.
At $5,000: The book will be upgraded in quality for everybody who gets it. Instead of stapled saddle-stitch binding, it will upgrade to square-back perfect binding. I will also be looking into upgrading the paper quality, but I need to get samples from my printer first before I can see if it needs to be upgraded at all.
At $7,000: A new sticker sheet design will be added to the choices. The sticker sheet will be a single character with different expressions -- much like the Belfry sheet. The character will be determined by a vote by you guys!! The $100 and $110 tiers will still get 2 total sticker sheets, and will get to choose their sheets from the options. (If you want all three, use the add-ons option!)
At $10,000: A 7-card TSSSF mini-pack revolving around Tamberlane will be added to all tiers $50+ -- and available as an add-on in the shop for $10!
At $12,000: A new charm design available to choose from! The plan for the design is to take advantage of the clear acrylic to have it be like you have the character in a little decorative plastic bag hanging from the keychain. :D
At $15,000: ??????

Risks and challenges
Having run several successful crowdfunding campaigns prior, I'm confident in my ability to deliver. I've worked with the printer several times, and I'm aware of most of the setbacks that can occur. Plus, all the material is already 90% done and prepared: it's practically a finished product!
The worst I can foresee happening is that either shipment is delayed, in which case I will continue to be communicative and upfront with my backers, or some rewards may get lost in the mail, in which case I will replace them on my own dime.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
