@Marc - if you received a postcard, then you should have also received a discount code. If not, we will be posting a separate discount code to backers in the coming weeks.
@All - exciting news - we are receiving the pre-production keychains from our supplier in the coming days. I am hand-carrying some samples back with me from China now (actually in China while I write this). Expect another backer update shortly.
@Kevin - if you are concerned, please message me and we will take care of you.
@Vern - the Android app is lagging the iOS app slightly, but still on schedule to be released together with the Keychains and Watch. There are some challenges that we are needing to overcome, but we are confident that we will do so within our advertised schedule. If something changes, we'll let you know.
If you look to the right of the page where it lists pledge levels it shows you which amount you've selected. At the bottom of your selection it says when the survey was sent and gives you a link to your response. I'm not sure if there is another way to see.
I'm kinda freaking out because I can't remember whether or not I've filled out the survey, and if I've done so correctly. Where's a link to the survey, or some form of confirmation?
Could we get an update on the Android app as well? I hope it doesn't look like an iOS app when it's released.
You mentioned the Keychains... Have you finalized Kickstarter backer discount codes for the http://www.connectedevice.com/ store?
Sorry I did choose the color. My bad
Hi peter I did not choose my watch color sorry. How can I order the black on black one?
Looks visually ok, but perhaps a bit over what's required. Features such as 'picture of your device' is a bit unnecessary - I'd like to see the effort going into code review and ensuring the application is as compatible as possible. Perhaps some kind of 'show device and debug information' toggle for the power users out there so they can make an easy start on the inevitable software hacking..?
I'd recommend looking at the iOS developer guide on these (and related) topics: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#DOCUMENTATION/UserExperience/Conceptual/MobileHIG/Introduction/Introduction.html
and this too:
Greetings from India?? Hmmm.. you are in India now? Welcome Peter! Have a pleasant stay!
