Yes... yes you can!
For the first time ever we're professionally bottling our Sweet & Sassy Barbecue Sauce. We've already completed the preliminary work. All we need now is your support.
When you support this campaign, you are not just buying a bottle of barbecue sauce.
You are helping Brownie's Barbecue reach new heights. There are a lot of critical steps involved with bringing our sauce out of our kitchen and into your homes including finalizing our recipe for mass-production, complying with FDA regulations, designing and printing labels, completing the production, and more.
And when you support this campaign, you'll get a bottle (or more) from the first production run. We also have some cool Brownie's Backer T-Shirts with some reward options.
What's in store for 2018...
If this campaign reaches its goal, we'll be able to offer sauce in coming years at standard grocery store prices.
The only way to reserve your bottles is to pledge your support here on Kickstarter.
- Step 1. Pick a "reward" on this page.
- Step 2. Fill out your Kickstarter profile.
- Step 3. If we reach our goal, Kickstarter will charge your credit card and we will deliver your bottles ASAP.
Don't miss out --> This first production run will be limited and our next batch won't be available until 2018. So reserve your bottles today!
The exclusive one-of-a-kind Brownie's Backer T-Shirt
20 years in the making!
In 1997 Brownie perfected his now famous Sweet & Sassy Barbecue Sauce - an old family recipe from the South mixed with special ingredients to make his barbecue stand out. With his sauce in hand, Brownie honed his unique smoking techniques and created a large following among his friends. Before long, he was winning ribbons and acknowledgements in barbecue competitions throughout the Midwest.
Today, Brownie's Barbecue is led by Brownie and his son. Together with their families and friends, they serve award winning barbecue at competitions, tailgates, and parties all year long.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Risks and challenges
Our biggest risk was whether we could create a recipe for mass production that matched our home-made recipe. And a couple months ago we successfully made the match.
At this point, the only thing left to do is make sure you want the bottles before we order the large scale production run. Assuming we hit our goal, there shouldn't be any issue completing the production run.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
