If ever there was a need for proof that serendipity was a real entity it would be my life. I got invited to play at a festival in Ohio and the person running sound just happened to be Karen Kane (who engineered Tracy Chapman's first EVER demo recording that lead to her getting signed to a major label)! She enjoyed my set and offered to let me record with her. I was beyond flattered. So with some serious encouragement from my 'number one fan,' I spent the last part of 2010 recording all of "Backroads and Driveways" only to find that there was nothing left to actually get the album out now that it was recorded.
That's where you come in!
We're going to raise $1400 in order to release my album in a Zero Carbon Footprint package through Oasis Manufacturing. It will be distributed to retailers like CD Baby and Amazon, and will be available online via iTunes, Rhapsody, and so many others.
$1400 will give me an opportunity to get my music out to so many listeners who have yet to have the opportunity to see me live. It will get my music in the ears of people all over the world, in the hands of radio personalities all over the country. $1400 is the proverbial finger in the dam holding my music back from its full potential. With your help I can push past it.
Thank you so much for your time and support.
