I had a couple of backers who weren’t able to select the exact items and combinations from the survey.

If you find yourself in that situation just contact me. We’ll figure out a survey response and I’ll make a note to ensure you get what you need.

    2. Crit Games 2-time creator on November 6

@Ngai Yiu Wong: Just enter the desired quantity by number for action Cards and dice sets. Five or more will be at reduced price. Goal is to pack as much goodness as possible into pledge packages rather than exactly matching a pledge amount—so just put the numbers for what you need for your gaming group.

How am I able to choose the 5 pack add ons in the survey. Specifically action cards and dice set.

    4. Crit Games 2-time creator on October 20

@Frank LeViseur: Yes, Kickstarter responses are completed. We've been heads down moving manufacturing and artwork forward as all of that will take much longer than survey responses. Mass production always takes some time and is on the order of months--that's why we started early on it. We'll be putting together surveys and sending them out--don't worry :)

Kickstarter close on their side yet for the surveys to go out?

@Frank LaVeseur: not yet. Kickstarter has yet to close on their side.

    8. Chris Dowdell on September 30

      @Crit Games

Thanks for your response :) I understand that the rulers won't work out. I look forward to seeing the marker selection. Game on!

    9. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 28

@Chris Dowdell: I've ordered a bunch of marker types and I'll get a post out about what I found this weekend. I didn't get a very big response on the rulers--so not sure if people would actually want or would use them :(. I often play gridless, but with squares you actually don't need it. Therefore I'm going to splurge on the marker selection which I think everyone will appreciate ;)

    10. Chris Dowdell on September 28

      @Crit Games

Hello. The rulers looked sturdy and useful. Will the rulers be available as add-ons? Will there be any other add-ons made available? Thanks.

    11. kenny perry on September 22

Thanks for working on that, it would be awesome!

    13. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 21

@Chris Anderson: I'm pretty picky when it comes to stuff like this. I ordered samples of a bunch of different marker types and testing them all out. I'll give an update on this soon. :)

Just curious if there was anything added to the kit i.e. ruler or marker that isn't on the page? Really looking forward to all the goodness!!!

    15. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 20

@kenny perry: I'll work on a way to do the surveys to allow post add-ons.

    16. kenny perry on September 20

Hey all, If I didn't include the add-on amount in my pledge, am I able to still add on things now? There are a couple things I would love to add on if possible.

    17. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 17

@Jennifer Lees: Didn't officially put a $15k stretch goal--so as not to disappoint. We're in the last few hours--so we'll see if we make it. My goal is to pack as much RPG goodness as I can into these Kits and we've definitely made things better with help and suggestions from everyone in the community.

That would be pretty sweet! But, I'd be completely pleased with the ruler and a dry-erase marker added to each kit!

What am I saying?!?! I believe that the kit already is a spectacular find and an amazing value just as it is!!!

@Crit Games, kudos on an awesome campaign!!! My fellow players, both in my home game and the game in which I play, are going to love having/using one of these!!!

    19. Jennifer Lees on September 17

I'm not sure what the stretch goal is for 15k but if you get there I'd love to see condition and combat cards included in the player kit :)

    20. Alex Lopez on September 15

@crit games thanks for looking into it getting this either way :)

    21. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 15

@Alex Lopez: I can check. Normally FF doesn't have a license path for third party accessories.

    22. Alex Lopez on September 15

Any chance to add dry erase or anything for the fantasy flight star wars?

    23. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 15

@Chris Anderson: good idea--I'll look into that.

Curious again, what does your gaming ruler look like? I think it would be a great addition to the kit even if it just does ranges and lighting. Very useful tool indeed!

    27. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 13

@Chris Dowdell: Making Starfinder and Savage Worlds Dry-Erase as options was one of the most requested features I got. Sorry for timeliness, but I needed to double check tooling with manufacturers to ensure I could get them made in the batch. Something such as a ruler would be more universal, but not everyone actually plays with figures or may want it. Definitely open to backer suggestions for what you'd like to include.

    28. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 13

@Chris Anderson: yes. Every Player Kit will get a token.

Quick question: does the add-on complete rpg kit come with an inspiration/bennie token? I see that the second set of dice was updated in the description; but, the token does not appear.

      Thanks!!!

    30. Chris Dowdell on September 13

      @Crit Games

I eagerly anticipated what would be revealed once the campaign reached 10K. I was disappointed and a bit angry to learn it was tools exclusively for Starfinder and Savage Worlds.

If there had been an update or a comment indicating the 10K stretch goal would pertain to Starfinder and Savage Worlds, I wouldn't have felt "let down". But (unless I'm mistaken) the 10K stretch goal was kept a mystery.

I think the 10K stretch goal should have been something useful for everyone.

That could be sweet! I use a lot of tiles and minis in my game; a good ruler could be very useful!

    34. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 12

@all: Shooting this out there to the backer community here. Would people be interested in having a ruler for the kit? Personally, I use miniatures in my game and I give a special ruler to all of my players to more easily measure distances for movement as well as distances for spell casting. I have a favorite RPG ruler style which is excellent for this and could be made available as an option. Just want to know if anyone else plays this way or would be interested.

      Any comments?

I love GMing & playing Savage World (Simple but very flexible system) ...I like GMing & playing Pathfinder/Starfinder (Very Similar Systems with different names for actions) ... and like playing D&D 5E (Simple but not very flexible system). So I would like to get this for all these systems.

    39. Crit Games 2-time creator on September 10

@Alex Hoggett: we are doing a Pathfinder set as well. I can post the list.

    40. Alex Hoggett on September 10

Why don't you guys have a Pathfinder version of the cards ? That's the other most popular system for D&D. Barely anyone plays Starfinder....

Hey! Met you Saturday at Rose City Comic-con. We both lamented about having young children and I shared the story about my DM falling asleep when we were playing. We pledged $100 so we could get 2 of the kits since I picked up the cards from you. Great to meet you and share some gaming stories and we can't wait to get our kits!!

      Cheers!

Hey all! I've been working all day at Rose City Comic Con #rccc17--just noticed we hit 10k! You guys are awesome--I'll try to post another update after the show. A big thank you for everyone making this project so great and blowing through all of the stretch goals! Game On!

I changed my pledge from $25 to $127, and put us over $10K! Woo-hoo! I *think* I did the math right: 5x Dry-erase boards, 5x Action Card Decks, 5x Inspiration Tokens, 1x Condition/Combat/Bonus Decks. I'm guessing shipping will be more than $5 at pledge manager time. Thanks!

Thanks for the response! I kind of thought that was the case, and I understand how the cards will work better now. I'm not saying DMs are ALL obsessive-compulsive, but it is making my eye twitch a bit to not have matching numbers... but you have a point: when I poison everybody in the party, I have to start looking for new players! I was the fellow who came back for those Condition Cards at Rose City Comic Con today. You Have my Axe! Well, an axe shaped pledge at the very least.
