It's time to upgrade your character sheet.
Your RPG character should be more than a few pieces of printer paper shoved in a folder or crumpled up in the bottom of your backpack.
The mighty deeds of your favorite character deserve to be chronicled and kept. This character notebook contains everything you need for game night, and it looks pretty awesome, too.
Document your character’s adventures in this pocket-sized journal, which contains a character sheet, spellbook, NPC sheet and inventory list as well as pages for sketches, maps and campaign notes.
The book is laid out so the important information - hit points, armor class, attacks - is right in the front and easy to find.
We’re gamers, and we know your character is more than just hit points and strength modifiers. That’s why every book has pages for your doodles, your campaign notes, your maps, your loot and everything else you need to track when you’re playing your favorite RPG.
Why would I want this?
If you’re tired of carrying around a bulky notebook, a binder, loose character sheets or a folder, this has everything you’ll need for game night, and it fits in your pocket.
Grab your miniature, your dice and this book, and you’re ready to go.
What does it look like?
Filling out your book is easy, and it makes playing your character easy, too.
The journal has a sturdy, thick chipboard cover to protect the precious information inside, and it measures 5 inches wide and 7 inches tall — small enough to fit in your pocket.
It also looks pretty damn cool. The first few pages are dedicated to information about your character including your most-used stats.
Next up are pages for spells and special abilities. And the rest is for notes about your ongoing campaign including notes about notable NPCs, spots to note your characters mighty deeds, pages to doodle during your game and whatever else you might need.
Why is it better than a regular character sheet?
It collects everything in one place rather than in a stack of messy sheets and notes.
It’s portable. It’s classy. It’s organized. It’s pretty. It’s sturdy. And best of all, the book remains as a document of your character’s mighty deeds that you can keep forever. Want to recall the adventures of your favorite PC, Olric the Brave, slayer of mighty dragons? It’s here in this book.
What are the books made of?
We’ve teamed up with Scout Books. (They're awesome.) Scout uses sustainable practices — the books are made from 100 percent recycled papers — and the books are made with integrity right in the heart of Portland, Oregon.
How do I get one?

Risks and challenges
There are a few potential challenges, but we’re ready to face them.
First Project: We admit it. This is our first Kickstarter. But we’re prepared! We’ve already created the artwork and all the layouts for the book. We’ve been working with our supplier, Scout Books, and they’re ready to start the presses as soon as we know exactly how many books we need. As soon as the Kickstarter is completed, they’ll start printing while we prepare for shipping.
Printing: As we said, we’re already set up with our printer, and we’ve worked through the logistics of getting the books made. Barring some sort of massive breakdown or natural disaster, we don’t foresee any issues.
Fulfillment: This is potentially our biggest challenge, but we’re prepared. If we hit our initial goal, we’ll fulfill the orders in-house with our small staff. If this Kickstarter somehow becomes massively successful (fingers crossed), we’re already set up with a fulfillment company to do packaging and shipping. We don’t foresee any issues.
Delays: Delays are always possible, but we think we’ve mitigated any issues. We have a firm timeline for printing and fulfillment, but we also built a cushion into our delivery date just in case something happens.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
