It's time to upgrade your campaign.
Your epic tabletop RPG adventures shouldn't be planned on a frayed notebook shoved in the bottom of your backpack.
The mighty adventure you’ve crafted deserves to be chronicled and kept, and this RPG Campaign Journal contains everything you need for game night. And it looks pretty awesome, too.
A sequel to our successful Character Journal project, this notebook is designed with GMs in mind. It lets you document your campaign in detail. The journal includes an XP tracker, a world map page, dungeon map grids, NPC info, house rules and player character information (never ask for passive perception again!). Oh, and plenty of pages outlining your campaign world’s countries, kingdoms, leaders, factions, heroes and villains.
If you're a GM, you can use it to outline your campaign world and document XP, NPCs and lots more. If you're a player, you can use it to write down essential details about the campaign so your whole adventuring party can reference it as you play.
For use with Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder or any fantasy RPG, the book is laid out so the important information — characters, NPCs, locales, maps — is up front and easy to find.
We’re gamers and GMs, and we know your campaign is about more is more than XP and loot. That’s why every book has pages for maps, notes, factions, house rules and everything else you need to track when you’re playing your favorite RPG.
Why would I want this?
If you’re tired of using a clunky wiki system or carrying around a bulky notebook, binder or folder, this has everything you’ll need for game night.
Pack your your maps, miniatures, dice and this book, and you’re ready to go.
What does it look like?
Filling out your book is easy, and it makes playing your campaign easy, too. (Never ask for your players’ passive perception scores again! You’ll have them all written down.)
It also looks pretty damn cool. Our books have a chipboard cover, which protects the precious information inside. The first few pages are dedicated to information about your campaign’s most used information (cheat sheets for PCs and NPCs as well as a handy XP tracker).
Next up are pages outlining your campaign setting and its notable locales and characters. And the rest is for notes about your ongoing game including pages for factions, notable NPCs, a quick dungeon builder, individual kingdom pages and maps and lots, lots more.
Why is it better than what I already have?
It collects everything in one place. It’s portable. It’s classy. It’s organized. It’s pretty. It’s sturdy.
And best of all, the book remains as a document of your campaign’s epic adventures that you can keep forever. Want to recall the adventures of The Warriors Five, the band of mighty murder-hobos… err... heroes who took down the Dragon Cult of Ossfaria? It’s all right here in this book.
Dry-Erase Initiative Tracker - $5
Keep track of the battle! Note the order of the monsters, characters and NPCs in every encounter with this dry-erase initiative tracker card and Crit For Brains dry-erase marker. Add $5 to your pledge to include the initiative tracker and marker to your haul. It’s the same size as the campaign and character journals, as you can see in the photo above.
RPG Character Journal - $10
It’s time to upgrade your character sheet. This 32-page journal lets you document a character’s adventures with a character sheet, spellbook, NPC sheet and inventory list as well as pages for sketches, maps and notes. Add $10 to your pledge to include a character journal in your bundle. Add as many as you like. They are available in either 5e or 3.5/Pathfinder formats, and we'll ask for your preference after the Kickstarter is over.
And we have more add-ons coming...

Risks and challenges
There are a few potential challenges, but we’re ready to face them.
This is not our first Kickstarter. Our previous projects were completed successfully and on time. We’ve also already created the artwork and all the layouts for the book. We’ve been working with our supplier, Scout Books, and they’re ready to start the presses as soon as we know exactly how many books we need. As soon as the Kickstarter is completed, they’ll start printing while we prepare for shipping.
Printing: As we said, we’re already set up with our printer, and we’ve worked through the logistics of getting the books made. Barring some sort of massive breakdown or natural disaster, we don’t foresee any issues.
Fulfillment: We don’t foresee any issues.
Delays: Delays are always possible, but we think we’ve mitigated any issues. We have a firm timeline for printing and fulfillment, but we also built a cushion into our delivery date just in case something happens.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
