@WillHart & @StephParker THANK YOU so much, again, for all the support and for spreading the fun chess life - don't forget to tell all your friends!
My cards arrived in South Australia today. They look great, much better than the PnP versions that I made.
Thank You P. E. Robinson!
I actually received my cards on the 30th. of July, but I didn't get a chance to open them up until last night.
Simply put, awesome fun!
I'll show and share these with friends and direct them to you for their own copies too!
@SerenaKaye Thank you for the kind note and for spreading the positivity - it is beyond words! Next week, we will turn on our url: www.kamikazechess.com and you can point your friends there. We wanted to make sure most/all backers had gotten theirs first before we release it. Thanks again!
Received mine today, love it and will need to order more for chess friends!
@John & @Liz yes, on the chance you get that card, you are correct - it makes for an extremely short game, but half of those cards say 'king is safe' half were deliberately left as true (unfortunate) death cards. There has to be some scare factor, right? :) Awesome comments, thanks!
That happened to me tonight. It made for a very quick game!
So, if you move your king onto a Kamikaze card and it happens to be Sudden Death, does that mean you immediately lose the game, or something else?
Received mine yesterday. Immediately unpacked and used.
Great campaign, great tiny game. Happy to have backed and keep up the good work! :)
Got mine yesterday.
Received yesterday in Oklahoma, looking forward to playing it!
Got mine today in Maryland USA. Great campaign.
Received today in Northern California. Looks great!
Just got mine today, southern Utah.
@Dan Finally someone enjoyed our throwback video!! Thanks, Dan - you rock!
I'll be honest - I'm mostly backing this project because the trailer video really cracked me up. I backed for two sets though - one to play with my family and one to gift. Looks like fun.
@Liz Great idea. We'd love to do that in the future. It will likely need to be v2.0 once we get rolling a little further down the road. We'll let you all know if that option happens!
I know it's probably a little late, but have you considered offering a Kamikaze theme, neoprene playmat/chessboard that could be rolled up. It would be consistent with the portable theme and probably make handling the cards a bit easier.
Made it onto the Kicktraq Hot List today, good going!

There's still some of the 5-deck early bird pack left. Maybe overkill, but at that size they're probably good as small gifts or stocking stuffers. Or you could just hang on to them so that when someone asks you what you're playing and wants a copy...
Yes!!! This is great! I'm excited about this now. Although i didn't get the early bird [work nights] its great we have more options. And there's also a print and play. Great job!
I'm such a sucker for chess variants..

@vilvoh Thank you (ALL) for the support and believing that Kamikaze Chess is worth your time!
I think this time the campaign offers more options to succed, although the low funding required may be suspicious. I'm in.
