New Environment and Underground Discussion Thread Posted

So, what has apparently been a few months in real-time for you guys has been only weeks for me with things even more crazily busy than usual.  We've hired up 4 new full-time developers (2 artists and 2 designers) and have another part-time programmer.  With the unfortunate closing of 38 Studios a short distance from us, there were suddenly a lot of very talented developers looking for jobs and we were able to very quickly fill our positions.

We've made a lot of progress on the development of the world and content, especially with regards to loot and enemies.  You can catch up on some of these development in our updates section with the recent bestiary posts from Allminoxy, level posts from Jalex and the bi-weekly "Grim Dawn Misadventures" from Zantai:  http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=18

I'm planning on posting a more detailed update on the status of the world soon as well.

In the meantime, we're now at a point where we'd like to gather ideas for our additional environment and underground so that we can get started on those.  To that end, we've posted a thread on the forums where you can share your ideas or comment on others: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4990

In a couple weeks, we'll consolidate the most popular, fitting and feasible ideas and then create a poll for you to vote on them.

There is a serious typo in the "Project Update #19: Grim Dawn by Crate Entertainment" email that was sent to the backers:
"In the meantime, we're NOT at a point where we'd like to gather ideas for our additional environment and underground so that we can get started on those." ...reading the lines here it is supposed to say "now" instead of "not".

while I not played Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, however, the three devs that have made themselves known, (who is the second artist? and why hasn't he posted on the GD forums yet?) but they didn't work on the above game, but on the MMO, but still said to see that studio close, but then again, it has made Crate stronger, and two artists, or a few artists are certainly were needed, but anyway, who is the second artist? as I dont think he has posted on the GD forums?

I'm glad you guys were able to take some people in from 38 Studios because they had a lot of very talented people there and I would hate to see their efforts go to waste. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was a great immersive game which I am glad I bought because it brought back a lot of what I enjoyed in a RPG. Thanks for keeping us updated!
