Wow, I am so happy for you guys! I've been playing TQ since 2006 and I was really saddened when Iron Lore shut their doors. I feel very compelled about this and wish you all the best! You have my admiration. Keep rocking and I really can't wait to see Grim Dawn. Take the time it takes to release, I have no doubt, this fantastic product!
Congratulations on reaching your target =]
Wow, great game play footage! The game looks good enough to play now, congrats again on reaching your goal Arthur.
I can´t wait for play the alpha,CONGRATULATIONS goof job ;)
congratz of reaching the goal~:)
If this is the very rough build, I can't wait to see the polished retail version. Congrats!
I got to say, this alpha footage looks better than the beta I played of Diablo 3. I am very excited for this game :)
Gratz on reaching the goal :)
Will there be any multi-player? Can we run our own server?

I'd expect multiplayer to be very similar to Titan Quest - with the game running on the same engine and all. That means official game-finder / server-list but player-hosted games. Probably no dedicated servers though.
Oh man, very excited! Hopefully this will fill the void left by Sacred2.
Yay! I like the hats of the characters! Everyone should wear a cool hat! And although... Sorry to say that, but no beer should look like this one... You should definitely taste an european (german ;) ) beer! Cheers man, you deserve it!
I'm with Claude Mathias, a beer without foam? It looks like tea =P
I hope with that money and a bit more development time, this will be polished to be on one level with various top titles of the genre that were released so far. Then it would literally be the game that I hoped D3 would be but isn't. :)
Keep up the good work! :)
This looks so much better than Diablo 3. Glad I put my money into this project.
I agree @Paul. I think between this, D3, Torchlight 2, and Path of Exile, it will give some great times, after Sacred 2. I hope n pray that S3 will still come to fruition (taken over by Deep Silver) But either way, We have had, and will continue to have great ARPG gaming for a long time. :) I can't wait for this one either.
My god this looks good.
Awesome video clip! Thanks for the update!
Game is looking slick - Glad to help. Congrats!
Love the footage! Can't wait to get started on this game when it's done! Good job Crate!
Gonna have to agree with these beer criticisms. Who poured the beer such that there is NO head? Simply not good. Also, what was that an Irish red type beer? I myself prefer young's double chocolate stout myself.
Just had a Killian's Irish Red myself to celebrate. Congrats, guys! So glad that you've made the goal, and looking very forward to everything that's to come!
I love how during the demo in the video you said that the effects are rough an unpolished but they still looks much better than most of actual AAA games. This game will be awesome! I love single player, so I hope the campaign to be great.
Arthur, you (and your team) rock!
Keep up the good work and cheers! :)
Fantastic. Congratulations on reaching your funding goal, guys, and glad I played a small part in making it happen. Can't wait to see where it goes next. The footage was kickass - really digging that class, and the destructable parts of the environment are great to see. Keep up the great work. ;)
i've watched this video so many times.
i love the game play footage it looks great!
At the very end when he does a 360 and take out all the grave stones! good stuff!
keep up the good work!
Congratulations! I'm super excited for you guys! I have been reaching out to other like minded game developers and gaming media trying to get you guys support wherever I can. I'm so excited games that I am passionate about are finally getting made and backed by the fans, publishers have went from being backers and investors to wanting to control every aspect of the process and it has nearly destroyed PC gaming. This is the future and I'm happy to say i'm here supporting it as it unfolds.
Kick Diablo III's butt guys! Congrats! :D
Paolo, comparing Grim Dawn videos with the stuff i saw in D3--beta .. they already did! :D Great work guys!
Wow, the footage looks awesome! Can't wait to put many hours in this game :D Good job GD team!
I want the poster on the wall !
Well Marc de Bruno, you sure look happy with the funding goal met. That must be a relief knowing you will see the fruits of your labour come to life with the funding of the community backing it up.
Yes we want to see this Grim Dawn come to light, you have teased us enough with it now go work on it and bring it out, it looks fantastic! Congratulations on reaching your goal.

The beer story is actually long and complicated as is often the case in game development. It started out as Allagash, a Belgian wheat style beer made by a local brewery but that was quickly consumed. Then there were a few bottles of Guiness but alas, they were depleted after multiple takes of the video. The original "final" video turned out to be too dark and grainy when I went to edit it, so then I had to start over with better lighting. At that point, I had to start on Double Bag from Long Trail, another local brewery. However, after multiple takes on the new video, head was deflating and beer was running low. I resorted to stirring it with my pen to recreate some head but eventually all the carbonation was gone, beer reserves were totally depleted and I had only half a pint left. Thus, water had to be added to fill the pint for the final take of the video. It was a flat, watered down, disgusting sip of beer but I took one for team. ; p
Nice color for beer good color
You have a week more .I think you pass $750.000 +
Hey, the ups and downs of beer drinking. I mean, game development. Yeah, game development.
Also, whens alpha release? XDXDXD just kidding.
yes we have alpha test???
Would love to see an official multiplayer server a la *cought* diablo/battle.net...
Congratulations on hitting your goal! I loved Titan Quest and still play it today with my friend.
Now I don't wanna bash Diablo cause I love that series as well but honestly, if the games remained the same but the developers were switched and it said "Blizzard Presents Titan Quest", nobody would ever have heard of Diablo. Sadly the masses are more interested in who made the game than which one actually is better.
I'm glad I was able to support you guys again!
alpha test should either be end of this year or next year, if you have pledged the correct amount, $50 min. sp yes there will be an alpha test
I had a huge grin on my face when he destroyed the gravestones with the beam at the end of the video, I love how you can break stuff in the environment :D
WAY TO GO ARTHUR! Bro I am Pumped and The shit looks as good now as a few finished games ive seen..lol. ;) U da man.
Nice review in GameSpy :D
OMG, I CAN'T WAIT! I played the hell out of titan quest...maybe a little too much :( But it was awesome! And Grim Dawn will be too.
