Early-access co-op tiers plus a new, limited tier with a precision mouse from Logitech®

After creating the new, lower tier co-op bundle, we started getting requests for higher tier bundles.  In response, recently we added co-op bundles for the $50 and $85 tiers, creating new $64 and $98 co-op tiers.

We felt that it didn’t make sense to have a co-op bundle where people couldn't play together until the full game was released, so we decided that the additional game-key in a tier would get the same level of access as the primary key.  So, for example, in the $64 bundle, both keys will have alpha / beta access.

We also have a new tier, thanks to the people at Logitech who were kind enough to send us 25 Logitech® Optical Gaming Mouse G400s to use as rewards.  They look pretty slick and I have to admit, I’m sort of secretly hoping there will be one left over for me.  ; )

EDIT - Because we have no way of applying upgrades for existing key-holders to the reward limit on Kickstarter, we will instead, reduce the limit for each mouse given out as an upgrade.

I second Spyke Alexander's comments about a 2nd co-op copy to the $100 level at an additional $14. I will upgrade if this option is added.

That was incredibly cool of Logitech! I still use my Logitech G14 keyboard, but have since switched to Razer for my mouse needs. A grim Dawn themed Razer Naga would be so damn epic!

I'm at the $100 level and was wondering if there was any way I could add on the ~$14 to get a 2nd co-op copy like the $64 and $98 levels?

    6. Zolgar on April 27, 2012

Definitely love Logitech. That's so tempting, but I really cannot afford to spend $175 right now. :(

      I've always liked Logitech :)

    8. Julian Di Cataldo on April 27, 2012

That was awesome of Logitech! It warms my heart to see a company doing something like that and it makes me glad I still own at least one of their products, even if it is only a Rumblepad 2. :P I traded my KB & Mouse in for Razer products and I couldn't be happier for doing so. Speaking of which any chance of getting Razer to sponsor you guys something? They're pretty good with branded gear and you never know they may even make you guys some Grim Dawn mouse mats. It surely couldn't hurt to try? ;)

If anybody is on the fence about the mouse, I can vouch for the quality of this product. I think I had mine for about 8 years before I replaced it with the G500, and it was still going strong! Excellent ergonomics, precision and longevity

Get an email to with your kickstarter account name after you put in the difference in pledge. We will be deducting from the limit to account for upgrades since no reward is selected.

Hi, same has Juan, how can I keep my preorder discount AND choose the mice? Since I should pledge less than the reward, I can't select it.

    13. ICryCauseImemo on April 27, 2012

@Juan you can upgrade more than once I did (just sent another e-mail). The only issue I see with this is since when we upgrade we choose the no reward option, that leaves the limited quantity the same so I guess we'll have to wait for Crate to answer.

Oops I posted this in the wrong update so here it goes again...

Hi Crate! I already upgraded my legendary pre order key to the $150 boxed deluxe ed. but seeing the mouse has tempted me to go up those extra $25. Can I upgrade again? Or it is too late?
Also since this would ship internationally the shipping cost remains at $10 as the boxed deluxe ed? or is it going to be higher since it adds the G400?

I was thinking about upgrading my Legendary pre-order to the $64 tier so I could play with my girlfriend, but seeing that it would be the "finished game" stopped me in my tracks. I searched the Grim Dawn forum to see if the co-op included alpha and beta access for both, or if I'd have to pledge $50 again. I couldn't find an answer on the forum, so I decided to check the Kickstarter comments, and that's when I saw the new update.

End of story is that I upgraded to the $64 co-op tier, though to be honest I would have paid the extra $50 if I had to. I'd suggest adding onto the description for the co-op tiers that they will have the alpha and beta access as well.

This is not good.... I need a new mouse too... ugh my heart may stop.

    17. Crate Entertainment Creator on April 27, 2012

I expect since we already have the mice, that they would be delivered well before the game. We will undoubtedly be very busy after the KS project ends and I don't want to commit to a date but I would guess we'd be able to ship these in June or July (this year).

    18. pat andrews on April 27, 2012

I'd love to have one of those mice (I'm wearing my 2 MX-518s down pretty badly) but I'm strapped - enjoy, those of you that buy in at that level!

    19. Atro on April 27, 2012

Will those of us who have pledged for at the $175 level with the mouse be able to have the mouse delivered before the game is released (but obviously after the pledge has been collected) or will we need to wait till the actual game is delivered?

Nice. :) So which get them?

    29. Gazz on April 27, 2012

      That is HOT STUFF.
I use the previous model MX518. When I need more precise positioning for CAD or graphics/pixel editing I just reduce the resolution on the fly. Pure bliss.
