New Co-op reward tier

We've had several requests for a way to pledge for two copies of the finished game, so we've created a $32 co-op bundle tier that offers a special low-price for those just looking to pick up an extra copy of Grim Dawn for a friend, family or loved one.

@James Chiang, from an earlier post they do:

      >We feel like it doesn't make sense to have a co-op bundle where people can't play together until the >full game is released, so we're going to say the additional keys in a tier grant the same level of >access as the primary key. So the $64 version will have two keys with alpha / beta access.

    2. James C on April 27, 2012

@Josiah Higginson: for the $64 & $98 tiers you only get one early access edition key. The second key is for the finished game.

    3. Zolgar on April 27, 2012

Clarification would be nice on if the $64 and $98 tiers include early access for both copies, or just the one?

    4. nintendoninja on April 27, 2012

come on guys support this the world needs more games like this

    5. Robert Bowen on April 26, 2012

Okay, I've just noticed you added the Co-Op Digital Collector's Bundle, and you got me to bite, so I've upped my pledge. ;) Keep on rocking, guys.

    6. jibaycay on April 26, 2012

Don't know if I will downgrade to co-op bundle, it's hard to think that an early access is costing more than a finished copy...

    7. Ray Trace on April 26, 2012

Upgraded to the Co-op Bundle :D

    8. James C on April 26, 2012

Just saw and upgraded to the Digital Deluxe Co-op version for $98!

    9. Keith on April 25, 2012

Why not just allow a person to keep their existing pledge level and add on $16 per additional copy to the pledged amount for each one wanted. This additional amount is just for the finished game, no early access at all. For example, say a person has pledged $50, he could just add an additional $16 to the pledged amount for a total of $66 and answer a question on the questioner about was additional monies added and were they for an additional copy. No need for additional pledges just to get more copies of the finished game.

    10. ICryCauseImemo on April 25, 2012

There should probably be another bundle for situations like this for people who want the $50 maybe 65 or something?

    11. lectronice on April 25, 2012

I pledged at $50 at the project launch then opened a second Kickstarter account just for a second $18 copy. I guess a 2-copies-with-more-stuff bundle would be a nice upgrade to the $32 option.

    12. apocraphyn on April 25, 2012

Hmm, tricky stuff. I'm at the $50 tier myself right now, but I'd love to have a second version included. The second version wouldn't have to have early access to the game, though. Finished game only, yo! (Granted, I'll just buy a second copy once it goes retail, otherwise).

    13. altruism on April 25, 2012

      Great offer!
I just upped my pledge for the $32 reward.
      :)

Yes of course Interessa in an additional copy of the finished game (35$ Bundle).

yes please add a 2nd copy to the $50 tier, i'm already thinking of choosing the $32 over the $50 one because of this.

      Yhamm on April 25, 2012

I would say 2nd copy for finished game only

I'm only interested in a finished version as a second copy, but alongside the $50 tier.

    18. Robert Bowen on April 25, 2012

An EAE with an additional copy of the game would suit me fine, as I intend to play co-op over LAN..

    19. James C on April 24, 2012

I'd want an extra version of the finished game and be willing to skip out on the early-access versions.

    20. Crate Entertainment Creator on April 24, 2012

Are you guys wanting to just add on an extra version of the finished game or are you looking for two early-access versions?

    21. Robert Bowen on April 24, 2012

Having a co-op bundle is a great idea, and I'd definitely use it, but I don't really want to downgrade from the Early Access Edition either.

Tom Morgan on April 24, 2012

I would love to get the 2 copies and give one to a friend, but I also want the early access. A second co-op bundle would be excellent for me.

    23. Jan Romero on April 24, 2012

Yeah that would be awesome. Right now we pledged $40, but I would gladly add the difference to my pledge if I could have the $35 reward plus an additional the $18 version. In fact, Kickstarter should just allow for multiple pledges.

    24. Crate Entertainment Creator on April 24, 2012

We received a lot of requests for a 2-copy version of the first tier and thought it justified to add a new option. We'd have to carefully consider if we add another, higher co-op bundle because we don't want to get too out of control with co-op versions of every tier. Our thought is that if people downgrade from $35 to $32, it is only a couple dollars and more than made up for by the people moving up from $18. For higher tiers though, we will think about either a higher co-op bundle for those wanting two copies along with alpha / beta access. Beyond that, I think the number of people in higher tiers wanting to add an extra copy would be low enough that we can manually process them via email or they could be purchased from our website after the KS campaign. I'll post more later tonight or tomorrow once we come up with a plan.

Thank you all for the suggestions, feedback and, of course, your enthusiasm about supporting Grim Dawn!

Yea, I would really love a second copy for a friend but also want the soundtrack. I know with books others have done "Add amount of X for another copy."

    26. Grogmonkey on April 24, 2012

Seems like letting people add an extra $14 to each tear over $32 to get a second copy might not be a bad idea?

I pledged at the $35 level - do I get a second copy? I don't want to reduce my pledge - in fact I'd gladly up it to get a second copy to share...

    29. Tyron Govender on April 24, 2012

agreed with the above, I pledged $85 for the game + expansion, so how would I be able to add another game to that, or another game + expansion?

It would just be the $50 tier that needs an extra copy. The others have an extra already.

    32. Bert Derveaux on April 24, 2012

Also, maybe it's a good idea to include a second copie in higher tiers, because now you maybe risk people lowering their pledge?

    33. Bert Derveaux on April 24, 2012

Nice, gonna up my pledge from 18 to 32 in that case.

    34. Mark Thorne on April 24, 2012

Do the higher tiers also include the extra copy?

    35. Theodore Stone on April 24, 2012

I changed mine from the $35->$32 (kept the donation at $35) but I'd rather have 2 copies of the game than the beta access.

      Thanks for the update!

    36. Hiphopanonymous on April 24, 2012

@Dennis Ulijn too late? You know you can manage your pledge to change to $32 right?

Fantastic. I'll be upping my pledge shortly. I want to play this with the same friend that I played through Titan Quest with. He won't do a Kickstarter pledge though. Thanks for this.

This would also be nice to add to the more "deluxe" versions. I'd upgrade from $18 to something like $65 if I could get the Dig

Amen to this! Stepped up my pledge. Now if there was a two-fer for the Early Access Edition...

    41. Davyd McColl on April 24, 2012

And this just encouraged me to up my pledge to $100 for a physical copy. Because it will be teh awesome (:

Less than a day too late :( Still, keep up the goods and the good work ;)
