ALL STRETCH REWARDS UNLOCKED!

Crash Games' Pub Series is an exciting series of games that are designed for you to be able to take them on the go and play a meaningful game in a space that is very limited in size. While the components in the Pub Series Games are small the game play will be anything but. We are proud to announce the first game in the Crash Games Pub Series, Council of Verona!
To add any of the menu items below to your pledge all you need to do is simply add the total $ of what you want to you pledge. You do not need to change your original Reward Tier.
For example let's say I was backing at the "Citizen Tier" which is $18 for one copy of the game and a set of Swag and I wanted to add The Zombie Cards and (2) copies of "Where Art Thou Romeo?"
I would keep my Reward Tier the same and simply add $10 onto my existing pledge of $18 so it would be, $18 + $4 + $4 + $2 = $28.
Where Art Thou Romeo? is a Nano Game in which 3-5 players take turns taking on the role of Juliet, who is attempting to find Romeo amongst the others players. Each card, other than Juliet, has two different roles from which to choose. Players holding these cards choose one of the two roles, which will subsequently make them want to convince the Juliet player that they either are or are not Romeo or perhaps point out who they think Romeo might be.
The game lasts 3-5 rounds depending upon the number of players with each player taking on the role of Juliet once. The player with the most influence points at the end of the game wins.
The citizens of Verona have grown tired of the constant quarrel between the houses of Capulet and Montague. As ruler of the region, Prince Escalus has formed a council to help mediate the conflict and bring lasting peace to Verona.
In Council of Verona, players take on the role of influential citizens of Verona and act to use their influence to either add characters to the council or cast them into exile. Through thoughtful hand management of their cards and clever placement of influence tokens, players gain victory points based upon the agendas of the characters at the end of the game. The player with the most victory points wins!
We've all heard the story of Romeo and Juliet – now is your chance to steer the story and determine who will rule Verona once and for all!
3-Player Game Play Video
*The video may freeze just the visual portion at the 2 minute mark if you're watching in standard definition. You'll need to watch this video in 480p or higher due to an internal glitch by YouTube.
When Council of Verona ships, the price listed on the customs form will be the price that I, the publisher, paid for your copy of the game and any extras. This is EXCEEDINGLY lower than full retail and should substantially offset any high import fees, taxes or tariffs. This is how we have shipped every Crash Game's game and it is how we plan to keep doing it.

[Council of Verona] is a blast. The non-food related highlight of my trip [to Origins] - Jason Tagmire
Rich Sommer (AMC's TV Hit, Mad Men)
"Council of Verona is one of those great games you can just throw in your backpack, ready to be pulled out whenever the opportunity presents itself. It's now found a home in my bag, right next to Hive Pocket and Love Letter. And it falls squarely between them in both size and complexity, which makes it a perfect fit." - Rich Sommer
"If AEG's Love Letter was the game that ushered in the Year of the Microgame, I honestly believe that Council of Verona is going to be the release that takes it to the next level." "Cliches aside, Verona is a bloody good game." - Michael Fox
"Council of Verona should be on the radar of not only Microgame fans, but gamers in general" - Eric Leath
"...simple and brilliant game design." - Anthony Racano
"This is Crash Games' best offering yet. It's going in my 'always with me' game bag, instant classic for get-togethers.'" - Bryan Fisher, Nevermore Games, Designer of Chicken Cesar
While Council of Verona doesn't use any dice we like to make collectible dice here at Crash Games and a collectible die will make a way cool First Player Marker!
*Final design of bag and dice may change but we will make every effort to ensure it doesn't.
Please keep in mind these are Prototype Rules and most likely contain some typos that will be fixed before final production.

Stretch Reward # 1 - @ $ 16,000
5th Player Expansion
The 5th Player Expansion adds four cards all with new and amazing art into the game as well as 4 additional influence tokens. The new cards are Rosaline, The Apothecary, Sampson & Balthasar.
-Rosaline (Neutral, Agenda Card) Does not want Romeo & Juliet to be together. Rosaline's Card will score at the end of the game if Romeo & Juliet are not together.
-The Apothecary (Neutral, Agenda Card) wants to sell to as many people as possible so The Apothecary's Card will score at the end of the game if he is in the area with the majority of the characters (counting himself)
-Sampson (Capulet, Ability Card) Mimic one ability of a Capulet Ability Card in the location Sampson is played.
-Balthasar (Montague, Ability Card) Mimic one ability of a Montague Ability Card in the location Balthasar is played.
Stretch Reward #2 - @ $21,000
The Poison Expansion
(*NOT IN RETAIL VERSION*)
The Poison Expansion will introduce two new tokens into the game for all 5-Player. One Poison Token & One Antidote Token. Here's a brief explanation of how the poison and antidote token work. When the game is over all Agenda Cards are checked for poison and antidote. If a card has a poison token on it without any antidote token the card is physically removed from it's location and put back into the box along with all tokens on it (this is very important as removing the card will affect Capulet/Montague Control)
If a card has both a poison and an antidote token on it the card is eligible to score, providing its Agenda has been met.
An Agenda Card with an antidote token with no poison token on it is not affected in any way as is an Agenda Card with two antidote tokens on it.
Stretch Reward #3 - @ $26,000
Components & Box Upgrade
This Stretch Reward will convert the cardboard influence tokens into high quality colored wooden tokens with stickers (The sticker sheet will include the numbers on one side and the "V" logo on the backside like the prototype Influence Tokens)
The box will be increasing in size slightly from the "No Thanks" box size to a size very close to "The Resistance" This is to allow for putting more stuff inside of the box.
The card quality will also be improving into a very nice card stock with linen finish.
Stretch Reward #4 - @ $31,000

Risks and challenges
The risks for Council of Verona are the normal risks for any tabletop board/card game. We have done absolutely everything we can to mitigate these risks as much as humanly possible.
We have completed all of the art and graphic design in the months leading up to launching the project here on Kickstarter. This was done out of our own pocket so that we could cut down on the delivery time.
We are using our consistent manufacturer, Panda Games Manufacturing to make Council of Verona. Panda has done a phenomenal job in delivering a high quality product to us in the expected amount of time.
If for some reason there is a hiccup in our process we promise to let you know that information as soon as possible as well as how we plan on overcoming that obstacle.
Our most recent project, Paradise Fallen, has been submitted to our manufacturer and we are on schedule to deliver it on time.
Crash Games has delivered two high quality games to our Kickstarter backers with Rise! & The Lost Dutchman. Hopefully by now you have seen that we are a company that stands by its commitments including delivering you a high quality game!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
