Frequently Asked Questions
We expect a $39.95 price point. The $29 price here on Kickstarter is a significant discount, so grab a copy while you can!Last updated:
Everything is done except for the Founders art, which we can't finish until the campaign is over and we receive the references from backers at the Founder's level. We will be collecting these references and Dylan will be completing the Founders art while the pledge manager is open in the last half of August / start of September. There's more than enough time to get that work done before the pledge manager closes, so there shouldn't be any delays leading up to the launch of production in mid-September.Last updated:
Yes. We will be working with PledgeManager.com to coordinate your rewards for this campaign. The pledge manager will go live in mid- to late August and will run until mid-September.Last updated:
Yes. Most of our catalog will be available in the pledge manager, including current pre-order items.Last updated:
No problem. Soon after the end of the campaign, you will receive an email from PledgeManager, a website that collects backer data and shipping charges.
- That email will be sent to the address you use here on Kickstarter and it will walk you through a process that's a lot like a regular shopping cart.
- First you will verify your pledge level, which will be ported over from Kickstarter. You will be able to upgrade your pledge level at the same prices if you want.
- Second you will have the chance to include any add-ons you want. We will have some products in the pledge manager that are not available here in the campaign.
- Third, you will enter your mailing address. This will be used to calculate your shipping charge.
- Fourth, you will check out, paying the difference between what you paid here on Kickstarter and whatever is owed in total, including shipping charges.
That's it!Last updated:
Soon after the campaign ends, you will be sent an email from PledgeManager.com with an invitation to log into that site, review your pledge rewards, add any other items you want, provide your mailing address, and pay for shipping and any remaining balance. This process will be outlined in greater detail in an update we post shortly after the end of the campaign.Last updated:
You will be able to log into PledgeManager.com anytime up to the point when we send rewards out for this campaign. We are pessimistically anticipating that fulfillment will begin in March 2021, though it may happen earlier. We will close the pledge manager to address changes a week or two before fulfillment starts.Last updated:
You will need to get us a high-quality photo of the person your Founder will be based on. This photo must show the person facing directly forward, and the photo must be as close to full body as you can manage (at minimum, we need the photo to go down to their knees).
You may also suggest clothing for your Founder, either by wearing it in the reference or providing separate reference. Crafty Games reserves the right to decline any clothing without explanation, though we promise only to do so in cases where we feel the clothing could offend, infringe a copyright, or otherwise cause issues for the game.Last updated:
You can technically use any of the mini-expansions with Solo Mode, but some will have greater impact / be more interesting with multiple players.
Merch, for example, can be an extra (and easy) scoring vector for Solo Mode, but the tiles aren't useful for purchases when playing on your own because there are no other players in the mix.
VIPs would only have half-utility because you don't score the majority neighborhood bonus in Solo Mode.
Mikeshakes are unchanged in Solo Mode.Last updated:
