A 30 year old novelist has just been notified that she's receiving a prestigious award for her work. She travels home in hopes that her mother, who she has been estranged from for ten years, will attend the ceremony. The film focuses on the three days they spend together in the house, as the mother has become a recluse as a result of the estrangement. The visit is ridden with arguments and failed attempts at reconnecting.

WE HAVE NOW REACHED OUR GOAL BUT THERE IS NO MAXIMUM TO HOW MUCH WE CAN RAISE!
The more money we accrue, the smoother an experience it shall be for everyone. Whatever the raised amount does not cover will be paid out of pocket by the director.
