Drop Out is the story of a young woman disassociating from her previous life after dropping out of college. Taking a breather far from home, her self reflection is broken when a rock shatters a window in her car -- leading the young protagonist to discover something she could have never expected!
I created this project after I'd dropped out of college myself. I felt lonely and isolated, being away from friends that I'd made during school. I had to tell myself that I had to keep going, keep moving, keep creating. My life doesn't stop just because I'm not a part of other's lives. Even still, years after leaving school, I have to remind myself of this. Creating this comic helped me move on.
The book is 40 pages of story and 12 pages of guest art and extras!

Who am I?
My name is Courtney Hahn. I've worked on a few neat little comics projects like Podunk and the Bedside Press Anthology Enough Space for Everyone Else. I'm looking forward to making even more neat comics and plenty of other stuff too.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my project! It means a lot to me to have this out there and I feel like it's something that would help others too.
Please don't forget to share this project on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Every click helps, it really does.
Risks and challenges
My comic is finished and ready to send off to the printer! The biggest risk that I foresee myself running into is the fact that this is my first Kickstarter. This isn't my first time printing a book and shipping things off but I have to be realistic with myself and understanding my limitations. The goal is modest and manageable so I feel confident that I can allocate funds accordingly and send off the books in a timely manner.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
