JPAC (jay-pac) is a little known branch of the US government, responsible for keeping one of the more sacred promises of our military: Leave No Man Behind.
In October of, 2003, the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command was established. Their motto: "until they are home". Day in and day out for nearly 8 years, the men and women of JPAC have risked their lives to bring home their missing or imprisoned brothers and sisters. They travel to remote locations, uncovering history so these americans can be reunited with their families.
It's time to tell their story. And it's time to honor and remember those who fought for our freedoms.
The script is written, and the roles are being cast. But we can't do it without you. We need your help to bring this project to life. There are still 88,000 MIA and POW soldiers. That's 88,000 husbands and wives, 88,000 sons and daughters. Please help us tell their story.
Our show centers on an elite team within JPAC, who put themselves in harms way in order to bring peace and closure to soldiers and their relatives, and in doing so, tell the story of each individual hero.
Our team is assembled and faces their first big case, a fighter pilot, missing since the Vietnam War. With a new commanding officer and dedicated forensic anthropologist, JPAC must work to uncover his story hidden deep in the dense jungle.
Every dollar pledged will go towards the production of this pilot. Military costumes, props and gear will add to the production value and believability of this story.
We will begin shooting this winter, taking advantage of the "green" season in LA to shoot our jungle sets and utilize a stable of experienced film and television actors.
Our past work shows the results we can achieve with a small budget and tight production. We've set our goal to begin shooting at $10,000, but if we reach that, please continue to pledge. Every dollar above the goal will simply make for an even better finished product we can all be proud of.
