FULFILLMENT AND SHIPPING
We have arranged for a trusted and well-known fulfillment company to ship the displays to you after a successful Kickstarter Campaign. This will help you get your Massif Displays faster, and allows us to offer USA, Canadian, EU, and Australian friendly shipping.
FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING
By using a fulfillment company and specifically designing these displays to fit into envelopes, we are proud to be able to offer world-wide shipping included in the cost of your pledge.
Whether you are in the USA, Greece, South Africa, or Pakistan, you can purchase a Massif Display for your showing needs. We are like Amazon Prime, but world-wide! ;)
We feel confident offering a 3-4 month estimated timeline from funding completion to a Massif Display in your hands. At the very minimum, we intend to ship your displays before GENCON in August.
In fact, you can even arrange to pick up your displays from the Massif Games booth at GenCon 50 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
While many Kickstarter campaigns take an upward of 6 months to fulfill, here are the reasons we anticipate our campaign delivering faster than normal:
- Our product has a very simple design. This means less risk of supply chain issues and manufacturing difficulties.
- Manufacturing is ready to go (see next section).
- We are using an excellent fulfillment company in the same continent as our manufacture. This means we don't have to load the displays onto ships across the Pacific.
- Several of our team members live in Europe and can easily be on hand at our manufacturing and fulfillment companies, should something come up.
Manufacturing is READY TO GO!
We have an excellent manufacturing plant in Netherlands lined up and ready to produce Massif Displays. In fact, they've already made and shipped us several test displays, so that we don't have any unpleasant surprises when we do a full production run.
The Story Behind Massif Displays
Big statement. But a quick google search, and you'll see that finding displays designed for board games is hard. Even Amazon has nothing.
Yes, you can find book stands. But no, book stands don't work with board games. Know why?
Board games are unique. Each game has a different size, weight, and shape. Unless you have the perfect size game, your book stand won't work.
I own an indie board game publishing company, Massif Games. I had a booth at SPIEL'16 in Essen, Germany to show my game, The Mountaineer.
While there, I was frustrated trying to display games at the correct angle on the table. Completely flat, and only people at the table can see the box artwork. Completely vertical, and people at the table have to crane their necks to see it.
While we made a make-shift cardboard stand to lean the games against, it didn't work well. The games were constantly sliding off, and I even caught one instance of this on camera (see the main video at the top of this page)!
When I got back to the USA, I started looking for something that would work, as I had other events at which I wanted to show my games. But I couldn't find anything, even on the almighty Board Game Geek website.
I started asking around, and my suspicions were confirmed. Other board game publishers, designers, reviewers, and even just players and collectors had the same problem. No good way to show off their games!
That was it for me. I started to design and develop Massif Displays.
MASSIF GAMES - A BENEFIT CORPORATION
Massif Games is a legally registered Benefit Corporation in the State of Oregon. In fact, we are currently the ONLY board game publishing company in the USA with this designation.
Being a Benefit-Corporation means that we are committing to being an environmentally and socially responsible business. This is something that I'm passionate and very excited about.
Our business is dedicated to giving away time and money for wilderness preservation and fighting human trafficking. In our corporate articles, we have specific goals including:
- 1. Massif Freedom
- 2. Massif Good

We've been working very hard to make sure this campaign will be a success, and that you will receive your rewards as soon as possible. That said, things can always go wrong.
Here is a quick video that discusses a few low probability risks with this campaign.
Risks and challenges
Product testing is complete. The manufacturing company is ready. The fulfillment company is ready. We've gone over our budget a million times, and performed as much risk mitigation as possible. The biggest challenge is funding!
WITHOUT YOUR PLEDGE, we can't make Massif Displays! Massif Games is a small company, and we are just getting started. We don't have the capital to manufacture these stands, without your help.
PLEASE! Pledge $1 or more, and help us finally give the game industry the display stands it needs!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
