Test shots of Battle for Alabaster!

Alison writes:

Better late than never;)

Here's a couple of pics of the first test shots of the plastics. Mold lines have to be refined etc. so you're really seeing these at the very early stages and I think they look pretty fantastic already. Hope you agree!

I have pics of a few so I'll post them over a couple of days;)

I'm chomping at the bit to paint up one of these plastics. As soon as we get any copies in house, I will do that and post the results. Maybe put it a long side the resin version and see if you can tell the difference;)

Simply amazing. Studio McVey excellence raises the bar for all other games companies. Ali and Mike can definitely be proud of this one and I can not wait to have a go at painting these!

    10. OMartinez on August 1, 2012

Nziv: nice point, this would be a good start on a painting guide preview. I am excited about the videos though; their wet blending guide is the best I've seen.

    21. Rohan on August 1, 2012

Seriously awesome! Needless to say, I'm a little intimidated by them.

    22. Dai on August 1, 2012

Those are the kind of mold-lines I can be happy about! Easy to sort out without losing too much detail, if any. Exciting!

    23. Scott "KillaMini's" Myers on August 1, 2012

They look gorgeous, somehow you've managed to take a chick that's fully covered in army and give it sex appeal.. man I need to get out more. Lol. BTW yeah that one mold line is pretty nasty, with such beautiful models, the mold lines might be more annoying and apparent, i'm confident you all will fine tune it. Can't wait to paint, my finger tips are sweating.

Amazing! I cannot wait. Glad to see my money is being used wisely!!!

    25. Michael Salt on August 1, 2012

What is there to refine? I can't see anything wrong with any of them that wouldn't be classed as well within acceptable limits.

You McVeys are perfectionists, and you really spoil us. you know that, don't you? ;)
