4,278 backers pledged $951,254 to help bring this project to life.

Don't know how to paint? We've got you covered (almost)!

If we hit this stretch, Mike and Ali will put together a short painting tutorial to get your Battle for Alabaster miniature windfall into decent shape!  Every Biohazard set will receive a DVD (region free) with a short tutorial specifically for this Kickstarter.  Depending on space limitations, a HD version you can play on your computer will either be included or downloadable.

Great stretch goal. I'm really happy with the responsiveness of Studio McVey to our demands! This game is going to be the death of my budget...

    4. Lee Nordling on June 12, 2012

+1 for the stretch goal - a fantastic reward indeed.

PS: Jerah - Surely even an un-coordinated artist can use a spray can! Black and White undercoat :)

    5. Jerahmeel Godinez on June 12, 2012

Nice stretch goal :) My friend will probably be keen on painting the pieces, especially with this tutorial.
I'm probably not gonna bother painting them myself. I'm a very uncoordinated 'artist'.

But I just realised that both the Strain and Vanguard are the same colour plastic... For those of us who won't spend the time painting our pieces would it be possible to change the colour of either side??

      excited about this stretch goal

    7. Stephen Rodger on June 12, 2012

To me this is a much better stretch goal - its about getting the most from what one already has put down for - optional extras to milk the already converted in my eyes, is not the best practice.

This stretch goal, which seems very much reachable, makes me a happy man :)

    9. Batei on June 12, 2012

Would love to see in the video is a step by step on painting up a base trooper and strain.
I would like to see the Paints used specified by manufacturer and color

Thanks for this. It will certainly help.

    18. Victor Qiu on June 12, 2012

very NICE :) love this GOAL

    19. Melvin on June 12, 2012

I really like that you guys take our feedback into consideration.... This is how the community and business should interact.... I'm so impressed I might just up my pledge level.... This is GOOD business sense.... they really do listen to the fans... not like some price hiking organization, who doesn't even show up at gen con or any events who host their products.... multi strain tentacles thumbs up CMON, Mike and Ali!!!!!

Backed. I used to paint warhammer 40k minis to reasonable effect, but I didn't consider my skills good enough to do this game justice. With a guide, I'll be fine. Thanks. I was waiting for this.

    21. Michael Melbourne on June 12, 2012

This might be the most important Stretch goal in my opinion. I'm looking forward to this stretch goal being reached.

    22. Christian Theriault on June 12, 2012

      Great idea, will certainly use!

    23. Charles on June 12, 2012

More awesome news. I know my painting skills could certainly use a kick in the rear...or at least some kind of helpful improvement!

nice - and a fine step for all Backer that will not have the glow figures

    25. Jordan Peacock on June 12, 2012

Awesome! I've really wanted to learn how to do a better job at painting miniatures. I could use the tips, but having a VIDEO definitely helps.

    26. Simon Ellison on June 12, 2012

This is great news! I was hoping there would be some kind of painting guide, but we get not only a video tutorial, but a DVD!
This project just keeps getting better and better :)

    27. Carlos Kamu Zermeño on June 12, 2012

This is really great. As a boardgamer who paints (as opposed to a miniature painter who plays boardgames), I love this. Watching a tutorial is one thing, but watching someone paint the figure you have in your hands is extra helpful.

    28. Adrián Doyle on June 12, 2012

You rock so hard you're putting AC/DC to shame! Thanks so much guys, that's gonna be useful.

    29. Joshua R on June 12, 2012

This is fantastic - just what I'll need when the time comes. Thanks, Mike & Ali!

    30. Tremblay Rémy on June 12, 2012

You are so great ! Thank you for putting your time on this project.

    31. Paul Howie on June 12, 2012

I like to think I know how to paint, but I still enjoy watching tutorials from the masters. Very nice idea for a stretch goal.

Thank you so much for this. I'd be willing to pay extra for a more advanced DVD, that covered one or more of the studio paintjobs from start to finish.

    33. Andrew_Roberts on June 12, 2012

wow you guys are awesome - nice way to plunk in stretch goal that some poeple really wanted without dissapointing the veterans. another big thumbs up.

Please specify what colors you use in the video so we can recreate your paintjobs
