“Cool Cat Loves You” is the Anti-Bullying and Kid's Gun Safety movie. Cool Cat and his friends show kids how to handle bullying and other situations in a cool and safe way.
But we must warn you - Butch the Bully is a Bully!
The movie addresses several issues that are important to all children.
- Bullying and Cyberbullying – Cool Cat and his friends get bullied via Text, Email, Phone, and experience a Face-to-Face confrontation, and Cool Cat shows kids how to stop bullying in a Non-Violent way! But also how to stand up for yourself.
- Kid’s Gun Safety – Cool Cat and his friends find a gun, and Cool Cat shows kids what to do if they find a weapon or if they see someone at school with one. The ‘Snitching’ issue is also addressed.
- Anti-Graffiti – Cool Cat catches some kids Tagging a wall and explains why it’s not cool to graffiti someone’s property.
- Kid’s Exercise – Cool Cat loves to exercise, and let’s hope this catches on with the kids.
- Recycling – Cool Cat teaches Daddy Derek that recycling is cool!

Wow, I’m glad you asked :) The next film is “COOL CAT VS THE WICKED WITCH”. I just finished the screenplay, and it is spectacular! It was pure enjoyment to write, and this Witch is Wicked.
For a kid, this story is the ultimate battle between good and bad. But most importantly, this film has many positive messages.
- AUTISM AND DOWN SYNDROME AWARENESS -
In "Cool Cat vs the Wicked Witch", Cool Cat’s new friends are Joy, an Autistic child, and Manuel, a Down Syndrome kid. Current Statistics show that 1 in 68 Births have Autism; and 1 in 700 Births have Down Syndrome. This film brings awareness to these kids, and Cool Cat shows that they are cool too.
Great news - I just got confirmation from the lovely Vivica A. Fox that she'll also be joining us in this film. We love Vivica and are honored to have her in the Cool Cat franchise. She's a pleasure to work with.

Derek Savage has worked in Hollywood for over the past 25-years, both in front and behind the camera. From acting and print work in the 80’s, to being an agent in the 90’s, Derek’s passion switched to writing, producing and directing. He writes novels, scripts, and kid’s books. Derek also writes and produces most of the songs in his movies.
The Producer and Director of several films, Derek’s past two are “Cool Cat Saves the Kids” and “Gun Self-Defense for Women”.
