What is Picture Pathway?
Picture Pathway is a colorful game of visual perception that challenges players to connect cards with similar attributes. Recommended for ages 8 and up, Picture Pathway will have parents thinking just as hard as kids and having just as much fun. Spend too much time thinking, though, and someone else might just snatch up your Pathway first. With two ways to play and countless different Pathways to be formed, Picture Pathway is a game to be enjoyed time and time again.
The first way to play, The Longest Pathway, is a game of speed and memorization where players want to link together as many cards as possible at once. The second way to play, Find Your Pathway, requires strategic planning (and a little bit of luck doesn’t hurt) as players compete to create their own specific Pathway.

Digital Version Stretch Goal: $50,000
Picture Pathway is well suited for a digital edition, so there are plans to develop a digital version of the game regardless of what happens with the Kickstarter. However, if the $50,000 stretch goal is met, that guarantees the digital version and every single backer will get a copy of the digital version as part of their rewards. The target platform for the digital version will be PC.
Why Kickstarter/Where's the money going?
Picture Pathway has come a long way since I started with my hand drawn deck on index cards. I could start selling Picture Pathway one box at a time, but to manufacture the game at an acceptable cost and quality, it’s better to make a whole bunch of copies at once. Kickstarter is a great way to make sure that first production run is the right size and allows me to deliver you the highest quality version of the game possible.
As such, most of the money will be going towards manufacturing. Beyond that and fulfillment, there shouldn’t be too many significant costs, but there is a little wiggle room just in case.
What could change?
All the images you see of the game are a prototype version of the game, which is subject to change in the final version (with the intention to improve). Sizes of some items may change. Particularly the box, which should be more compact, the larger prototype box was a standard size that kept the cost down for manufacturing a single unit. Printing colors can be tricky, but is important, so there may be some small changes to ensure every color is as distinct as possible.
Risks and challenges
I am working hard to deliver the best possible version of the game possible and to minimize risks. I have been in contact with Ad Magic Inc. , which is a company with a good track record and that has been part of a number of successful Kickstarters, and am planning to use them to manufacture the game. Once the games are out of the manufacturer’s hands, I will work hard to ship orders in as timely a manner as possible. If the stretch goal is reached, that will create some additional challenges. However, the digital version should not impact other rewards in any way, it just may not be ready at the same time.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
