About

Dolla Dolla Bills is a fun and simple game of playing action cards in order to get the most money. With more than 8 million dollas at stake, will you be the one to get the most and make it rain on your loser friends. Or you can be less rude and just buy yourself and your friends something nice. That's up to you. I'd go with the former.

The art of Dolla Dolla Bills was made by a talented artist, Adin Milo. You can check him out here. Starting with placing copy paper on the TV’s paused frame of a Hanna-Barbera cartoon - Adin Milo loved illustrating at an early age. Vintage cartoons such as - 1930s Felix the cat, through to the 1960s Wacky Races were old fashioned whilst Adin was growing up, there was also something about them that fascinated him. These grew to be a major inspiration to influencing his style and approach to art.

Specializing in retro styles, Adin Milo has worked on many logos, board & video games including posters or infographics for events and businesses. Each with a unique flair for wacky characters, simple geometrics, and a simple color palette.

Example of the game layout:

The dollas range from 1 dolla all the way to 1 million dollas. All with different colors to make quick distinction on which dolla is which.

What really makes the game are the action cards.

Some cards let you grab dollas from the pile.

Use the Bank Closed card to cancel any of the previous cards.

Use the Robber Card to steal cards from other players. (Left)

                                                  OR

Use the Cop Card to cancel the Robber Card, so it won't affect you. (Right)

Use the Taxes Card to force players to put their dollas back into the dolla pile. (Left)

                                                 OR

Use the Evasion Card to cancel the Taxes Card, so it won't affect you. (Right)

There is also an extra card called the Luggage switch card. If a player draws that card they play it immediately, and every player then gives their cards to the player on their right, or left, whichever. You do you.

The game ends when the pile of Dolla Dolla Bills is gone, and the player with the most Dollas wins.

 About Common Loon Games:

CLG as I prefer not to call it, is comprised of one person (for now). An "adult" woman, who goes by the name Marina Coelho, but my friends call me never.

I got the name for Common Loon Games, by going to the book store one day, picked up a book about birds for no particular reason, I flip to a random page, and there it was. A magnificent creature named the Common Loon. It brought me great joy knowing a bird named the Common Loon was out there somewhere swimming in some lake. At the time I wasn't looking for a name for a company, so I didn't think nothing of it. 6 or so months pass by, and I come up with this idea for this board game. So I start thinking of a name for a company. Some random names pop into my head. Mostly consisting of the word planet, cause I loved the Pizza Planet from Toy Story. But none of them sounded right. Then I thought of the loon, The Common Loon. I'd like to think I'm a bit of a common loon myself. So I named the company Common Loon Games. And I don't regret it one bit.

Risks and challenges

The biggest challenge is, since Common Loon Games is just one person, this one person is very stressed. Everything's significantly more difficult all by my lonesome. But I'm working hard, and making sure I do all the research I can to make sure everything is in as close to perfect condition as I can make it.

Other Challenges may include:
Back Pain, Headache, loss of vision, Fever, Abdominal pain, Dizziness, loss of hands and feet some how, anxiety, and lack of sleep from said anxiety.
