Colt Coeur presents the world premiere of
How far are you willing to go to salvage your relationship? Do boundaries in relationships enhance or hinder closeness? What would it be like to live simultaneously in your own emotional interior as well as someone else’s?
Once you know the true, inner feelings of another, can you still find love?
Empathitrax is a searing, darkly funny and heart-filled story of a young couple who turns to a new breakthrough in pharmacology to save their fractured relationship. Like any new drug, there are unforeseen side effects that, in this instance, have poignant and shattering consequences.

Why are we asking for so much money?
Well... here are just a few of our expenses:
- Theater Rental: $20k for HERE’s beautiful Mainstage in SoHo
- Scenic, Lighting and Costume budgets: $1000+ each, to bring the world of these gorgeous plays to life
- Printing & copying: $500+, because new plays mean new pages
- Liability insurance: $1000, just in case!
We are dedicated to paying every artist involved at least $850: actors, designers, playwright, stage managers, director, crew...
And we believe in very affordable ticket prices -- all tickets are $18 or less.

Risks and challenges
We know how hard it is to produce new plays -- because we've done it before. We are supremely confident in the merits of this production though, and we are putting together an incredible team of collaborators-- actors, designers, and crew -- many of whom we've worked with on our past 7 productions. We know this is an ambitious undertaking but we are energized by the challenges, and excited to share this brilliant new play with YOU!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
