Eurovision Update - Vote Now!
Hi everyone! You may remember earlier in the campaign we announced a special competition to celebrate the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 happening during our Kickstarter (if you don't know what Eurovision is, it's a music competition where the nations of Europe - and Australia for some reason - compete to see who has the most absurd taste in music that year).
Portugal won this year (you can watch the winning performance here), so to celebrate we've decided to include a creature card in the game with artwork inspired by the myths and folklore of Portugal. Now, we need your help to decide what that card should be.
We've spent the last few days researching Portuguese mythology, and have found 3 creatures that we think would make great cards in Underleague - so we need you to vote in our survey to tell us which one we should use. We'll announce the results of the survey on Wednesday 31st May. You don't have to be a supporter on Kickstarter to vote, so feel free to share the link on Facebook, Twitter or anywhere else.
And what are the options you can pick from?
- The Coco is a Portuguese bogeyman used by parents to frighten misbehaving children. It is often depicted as a humanoid ghost with the head of a pumpkin, with eyes and a mouth carved into it.
- The Duende is a small forest-dwelling humanoid - similar to a goblin or a pixie. They can be seen wearing pointed hats, and will often sing an enchanting song to lure travellers down a false path into the woods.
- Adamastor was a monster invented by the Portuguese poet Camões - he is described as an ethereal giant with power over the wind and waves, who is capable of appearing in the form of storm clouds.
Whichever creature you choose, we'll come up with a creative concept that fits the world of Underleague, and share the art and final card with you when it's completed.
So click here to take the survey and let us know which of the above creatures you want to see in the game!
