At the moment, the game is only available in English. However, we see a growing interest by the community to have it in other languages such as French, German and Spanish. Our manufacturers however, consider different languages as separate batch orders. In order to deliver the card game at an affordable price in multiple languages, we need at least 500-1000 backers for each language. Our backers are extremely important to us and if we hit our stretch goal of $100,000, we will start releasing 1 language at a time based on popular vote! So keep your eyes out for our campaign updates ;)
P.S. We welcome anyone who wishes to collaborate on this.
Yes, we do. You can find the prices for international shipping by selecting your reward level and choosing your location in the drop-down menu. We are working with Floship, one of the most experienced crowdfunding fulfillment centers in the world, to deliver the product to you by Christmas or January. We did not expect international shipping to be so expensive and we have tried to absorb as much of the shipping costs as we can to keep the game affordable for all our backers. As for Canada, EU and Australia-friendly shipping, we are finding it quite tough to iron out the uncertainties with so many different fulfillment centers around the world and we really want to deliver the game in time for Christmas. Nevertheless, we will still look into it if there is sufficient demand for it.
P.S. We welcome any kind soul who can enlighten us on this matter
The Potato Pirate plushies are 8cm-tall charms. They are only available under certain reward tiers. Please refer to the rewards table on our Campaign page. We are unsure if the plushies will still be available once the campaign ends as it is rather tough to pack both the card game as well as the plushie when it comes to selling them in retail stores. So if you want one, grab it NOW!
Backers can use this e-book guide to move from the Potato Pirates into the world of Python programming. Python is a popular programming language used for data analytics, building of websites, games and much more.
The cards in the game will be used as analogies to facilitate the learning of the Python language. It will include mini-challenges to help you assess your understanding of the concepts and your ability to apply them in different scenarios.
This curriculum is tailored for educators. It includes 6 lesson plans of 2 hours each. They will cover topics such as variables, functions, for loops, while loops, nested loops and conditionals.
