The year is 2170. The 20-year Wrog War rages on. Mankind's outer colonies have been devastated. Our brightest scientists have constructed humanity’s greatest weapon: the space fortress, Freedom Strike. The first Ares-Class Battlecarrier, Freedom Strike acts as both a mobile command station and a spacecraft carrier with customized battery towers, TSF SuperTech weaponry, and a fleet of 3D-printed warships designed to survive the endless onslaught of the Wrog Swarm.
Infinium is the key to winning this war. Harvested from the remains of Wrog ships, infinium is the key element in the creation of Cyber-Gen 119, aka "living titanium." Cyber-Gen creates drone ships, allows for the creation of turrets, and is used to repair your ship.
Although the presentation is very different from traditional tower defense games, at its core, Infinium Strike is a lane management-style tower defense game. With 7 towers and 5 levels of upgrades, you decide which towers to place and where and when. All choices affect the outcome of the battle.
Freedom Strike's self-piloting systems guide the player through hostile Wrog territory, allowing the player to focus on the battle around him or her: strategically placing turrets, deploying ships, and activating special ship weapons.

We decided early on we wanted to share our beta with the public to finalize mission design, features, and game balance. We find that feedback from the public is invaluable. Kickstarter is an excellent way to get fans involved in the game and make an impact before release. We decided to delay the Kickstarter until beta to provide a hands-on product approach to game feedback.
When is your PC Release Date?
We are on track for a fall 2015 release. However, based on the success of additional Stretch Goal content from this Kickstarter campaign, we will take the additional time to add content and improve the product.
Is this game free to play?
No. The release of Infinium Strike is standalone, fully featured game with dozens of hours of game play and lots of game customizations. All game content and customizations are unlocked based on gameplay. There are no pay walls or pay-to-win game features. Future paid DLCs will be released to add more game content and customizations and will require the base game to play. There may be additional customization content available as micro-exchange content in the future, but they will be treated as add-ons to the initial game.

Risks and challenges
We believe the risks are minimal on this project.
With 2 years of production completed and paid for, the minimum pledge goal represents a fraction of the cost of development. So, every dollar pledged to support us will go toward polishing the game, addressing beta feedback and adding stretch goal content. The game beta is fully playable with final quality graphics. The demo is now available in the demo link above.
With these additional funds, we will add polish, content, and implement feedback from the Kickstarter community. Join our closed beta program, and tell us how we are doing!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
