This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Wed, October 10 2018 8:30 PM UTC +00:00.
That’s right, boys and girls, this story is no fairy tale.
Code Anchor is preparing their second full length album, entitled Hoist, to be released later this year. It will contain 13 tracks, with some new tunes, and some old favorites. This album is meant to appeal not only to the people who supported us back in the day, but to anyone who likes rock music in the vein of Foo Fighters, Faith No More, Incubus, 311, Weezer, The Toadies, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, etc.
In order to get Hoist ready for you, we will need your help; making an album costs a pretty penny. With all the recording and editing we have done on our own, the album still needs to be mixed, produced, pressed, and publicized. Even by pursuing modest means of accomplishing these necessities, it would still put us back about $5,000. We chose Kickstarter for assistance due to their reputation of success and artist support.
Check out our first single from Hoist, "Hoist"!
To sweeten the pot, we have many goodies in store, including exclusive new shirts, (only 100 made), CDs of our first album, "Rosada," personalized playlists by Dan, Skype lessons from Scotty, even Ryan Schiff's own Gibson Les Paul Guitar! Check out our Rewards section for more details.
Stretch Goal: $7,000
If we do extra well with our Kickstarter campaign, and exceed our goal, we may even be able to afford getting Hoist mastered professionally by Brian Lucey, who did work for The Black Keys, The Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood, and many more.
So please, lend us a hand.
Together we shall hoist the Anchor once more.
Risks and challenges
We know it's difficult to get people excited about music nowadays. In order to reconnect with old fans, and make an impression with new ones, we are going to hold a reunion show on September 15th at our old stomping grounds, Revolution of Amityville, NY, where the goal will be to raise awareness and sign people up for our Kickstarter campaign.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
