Phew, another Season now enters production...

Thanks, each and every one of you, for pushing this campaign to such unprecedented numbers, both in terms of pledge total and number of backers!

In fact, we're so pleased with how the campaign went that we'd like to give you one final treat! We're replacing the standard red dice in ALL Rue Morgue boxes with these cool yellow "bullet" dice!

We'll be contacting you with survey information shortly, and will announce it as an update when we do!

It's a two part process:

1. A Kickstarter survey will go out, which is hosted by Kickstarter itself. We'll ask you most importantly for your email address that you read (we won't spam you) - if you give us an email you don't check you will miss important updates - including when and how much to pay for shipping, tracking info and lots of important project communications.

This survey will go out in about a week, after all credit cards are charged and any credit card retries are made.  If you are a Zombicide Season 2 backer, please use the same email address you used with Season 2 so we can automatically provide you your discount - if not we will be able to change your old account email to a new one after the pledge manager is up.

2. We'll use the info you give us to populate an account on our pledge manager, and when that's complete we'll send you a link at the email address you gave us through Kickstarter.  This pledge manager will go live between 2 to 4 weeks from now.  On the pledge manager, you will be able to specify which items you want, pay for additional items and also for shipping.

It's not important to get everything right on your survey except your email address.

Once again, thank you all very much - we'll keep you updated as we go along making Season 3 a reality!

P.S. Almost forgot, you can continue the conversation here at the CMON Zombicide forum -

@Lachlan yeah I know how the dice look like
it was more a hint, than a question

    2. Nick Drake on

Cartridge dice, the bullet is the part that travels down the barrel, the cartridge case is the brass or nickel plated or even steel part the bullet is in along with the propellent powder and the primer and the complete entity is called a cartridge.

    3. Paul Howie on

@Marco, not sure how fair it would be to mention a competing game by name here... ah, screw it, Zombicide isn't exactly under threat from anyone - these are the dice:
      http://www.greenbriergames.com/main/index.php/games/zpocalypse/zpocalypse-dice/

It was much easier to get handfulls of them during their kickstarter, I have about 30 of the blue ones and some of the less cool red ones. They are probably my favourite dice... and I have a lot of dice.

    4. C on

If you don't like the dice in RM, start a dice-trading thread on BGG when RM comes out! I'm sure other gamers will want these dice, and can trade dice for them, as well as use the dice as part of a larger trade. I only have one regular set of zombicide red dice for trade (they come in the base game and Prison Outbreak), but can trade regular and novelty dice for the special dice in RM and/or the KS. (Note that the Z2 and Z3 special dice have a zombie head and molotov cocktail sides, and special pips.)

    5. Marco on

@Paul : what wonderful game is this that comes with such amazing sounding dice?

    6. Paul Howie on

Yeah, I never use the special dice either. Looks like you have product in hand so probably too late to change them, but having two faces with special symbols is terrible for quickly counting up successes. I'd much rather have the molotov be replaced with 6 pips and keep the zombie on the 1 face (or vice versa I guess).

Fortunately I have a ton of truly amazing dice from another zombie game that has bullets for 2-6 and a big "Click" on the 1 face. They're also more uniformly weighted and have a lovely metallic marbled effect. Perfect for Zombicide.

    7. Nick CC on

awwww yeah we did it! Glad to say that completing my first kickstarter with CMON was awesome and i can't wait to bust out all the new games and pieces with friends and family. Even with the ups and downs, i'm glad i was able to take part.

Sorry, those were two really negative posts.
As much as I'd rather the basic set came with normal dice, I'm pretty stoked with all the other bonus extras we're going to receive.
In particular, I'd have to say my favourites are the bonus VIP zombies (especially exclusive sculpts), bonus survivor/zombivors and bonus cards like the Experience deck and Team building Decks.

I have to say CMON/GG have run another very successful kickstarter campaign, and while you'll never please everyone all the time, you have certainly given enough great incentives to please over 11 thousand people!
As an enthusiastic owner of a retail copy of Zombicide S1, I'm very happy to have had the chance to take part in one of your famous Kickstarter events, and overall I am extremely pleased and excited about all the bonus goodies I have been promised as a participant in this event :)

Thank you Guillotine Games and CMON, more sincerely.

"There seems to be some confusion, these bullet dice are NOT the same as the special yellow dice. Those have bullet holes as pips, not bullets. "

      Yeah that's a massive difference.
      Excuse me....

      ...I guess

    11. Marco on

Once that Pledge Calculator comes out I will spend like theres no tomorrow since I will have been payed by then... gonna get all them add ons and up my pledge too. Good thing we hit all the SGs otherwise id blame myself for not helping out much! Lol

    12. Valentyn Faïe on

      @Edouard Foraz et @Valente Francois

      merci a vous deux!

    13. Sapuyapu on

Can't wait to hold season 3 in my hands! Thanks for this awesome campaign! I also love the yellow "bullet" dices, they're so awesome! *-*

    14. Lachlan Blackmore on

@ Gold, when the pledge manager is sent out, you can add more.

    15. Lachlan Blackmore on

@ Hibiki Ryouga my red dice from season 1 and 2 were in the little plastic bags they came in until about a month ago, when I needed dice and my dice bag was AWOL.

    16. Lachlan Blackmore on

There seems to be some confusion, these bullet dice are NOT the same as the special yellow dice. Those have bullet holes as pips, not bullets.
@ Timo this one is for you.

    17. Marco Curvello on

Meh, I really don't like yellow very much, but I guess the bullets are cool...

    18. Hibiki Ryouga on

What do people have against the Zombicide dice?
We only use the stansard red dice to indicate survivor play order, and use the awesome dice for combat.

Are the "stretch dice" also replaced?
The dice are really cool, want to have a few ^-^

    20. Gold on

So just to double check - I can still add more to my pledge at survey to grab the optional buys that I missed right?

    21. Stephen Cowart on

I think I have enough red dice from the other games to be good so this is cool. Granted I never use them because as others have pointed out, they are a bit annoying to use. Still a cool mini upgrade.

    22. Francois on

      @Valentyn Faïe

      I'm with you Ian.
At the risk of sounding ungrateful, I'd prefer regular dice.... especially when one set each of the special yellow and brown dice were already included as a stretch goal

    25. Hans von Z on

love the fancy dice , thanks for the free loot !

    26. Ian Arnold on

I'm honestly kind of sad that I don't get more of the red standard dice. My group prefers them to the specialty dice, which I'll also have 6 sets of now.

Anyway great campaign look forward to all the new mechanics!

    27. Stephen Mills on

Thank you guys for a great first kickstarter campaign for me, really enjoyed the whole thing and appreciate all your hard work, well done. I'm looking forward to season four already!

    28. Valentyn Faïe on

bonjours, étant français je n’ai pas tout compris concernant cette partie, et je n’est trouvé personne dans mon entourage pour me l’expliquer. Pouvez vous m’aider?

      Merci

    29. Steven Ford on

Think I'll still be using alternative dice, unless you're changing your actual dice manufacturer / supplier, because the Zombicide dice are always so badly weighted.

    30. Alana on

Thank you for the awesome gift and for everyone's hard work. Can't wait to get the game and will be happy to join season 4 when the time comes.

    31. Carmen on

Thank you for one more sweet bonus!

    32. Evil-Lite on

If the dice only had 1 picture instead of 2 I would actually use them more often.

    33. Francois on

      Zombie = bad = 1
      Molotov = good = 6

    34. Matthew White on

Which image is the 1 and which is the 6 though? I still don't know. >_<

    35. Eduardo M. Lopez on

Great! We broke the lines again. Hope we haven't distribution issues as in S2.
Regards to everyone involved, and thanks for the dices!

    36. Alderman Jack on

      Nice dices.

    39. Jrec on

Awesome, awesome campaign! Sad to see it come to an end - can't wait to get my hands on S3 though! Glad to have been a part of this

    40. Kurokage on

Cool yellow "bullet" dice? Yes, why not!^^ ...Thanks CMON!!! :)

    41. Nick Drake on

Thanks, the dice are really cool!

    47. Martin Durand on

Wow! Thanks! This is the reason why I didn't get any feedback from CMON about the color of the dice in the game :)

    48. Mark Allan Reynolds on

Thank you for this last parting gift! A GREAT Kickstart!!!!
