As one of those who doubted the wisdom of stretching out the goals so deep into the campaign that there seemed a risk of not getting all the 7 Sins into the game called '7 Sins' (especially as Wrath was really all I wanted anyway) I am happy we made it - and I want to say I really appreciate the value of this game, even in terms of the miniatures alone.
Not only are the monsters beautifully designed, inspirational, and incredibly imaginative, but the price we pay is incredibly low compared to almost every other manufacturer out there, yet still as high quality as any of them.
Even without the benefit of the Kickstarter pricing these will still be amazing value when they go to retail.
Also the world and setting really works for me - and all the characters and their back-stories are interesting and clever. It shows how much it would've been fun to be part of the creative process for this project.
Thanks CMON, you have inspired me and restored my Faith!
The controller looks much better in these pics, great stuff!
We are there!!!!
I love all the avatars, each one is unique in their own way but all of them have one thing In common: they're grotesque, yet nightmarishly awesome.
MRA : Men's Rights Activist. When feminism manages to get more or even equal rights for women, it's obvious there is a need for some form of men'ism to protect the endangered male's traditional privileges.
So...what was the issue with Delta Team? What's "MRA"?
Really loving the painted Wrath stuff - the Avatar is inspired
I appreciate seeing Kirpan as well - I'm just trying to figure out how he keeps all of his ornamentation in-line during a battle (he's not the only one with that issue, of course)
I strongly suggest leaving the figures unassembled, so we hobbyists can build them how we want to. might save you money on the back end anyway. Thanks! Cant Wait!
Thanks for info about the bios, I was hoping they would be printed on back of Hero boards.
Holy crap! The painting of the Wrath Avatar is just mindblowingly good!!!
I am now torn between whether I think Pride or Wrath have the best Abatars?!? I think that the Wrath Abominations are the best, not to mention game mechanics for it, so overall Wrath is now my firm favourite of the 7 sins! Amazing to finish the sins with these and big congratulations to the painting elves for just blowing us away with all their skills!
@Judgement Dave Yeah, that's what I thought, but Thiago said yesterday that they were considering it. If they include them, I bet they'll be gone over much more carefully.
@QuoteStar The fact we'd been told that the bios probably wouldn't be included was why I never commented on it before. I thought if we don't get them then either ignore it or if you download the images and print them yourself, it's easy enough to edit the image first...
It's slightly different if the bios are included.
BTW I hope/trust that they'll be put through decent proofing... Knowing they were probably web/KS-only was also the only reason I didn't point out typos/errors.
@Judgement Dave Probably a good move, considering it's making the entire Delta Team a no-buy for some...
@Roland Kirpan is awesome, but I reserve my love for Father Flamethrower.
@Thiago "We don't know yet whether we'll be able to include the bios in one of the game components"
Oh that's great news - I had been planning on making my own document of collected bios.
Though if they are going to appear it could be worth addressing the MRA issues some had...
Kirpan is my favorite!
Small correction: SOME of the Production minis looks great and detailed, when most of them don't. The reason for this might as well be the photos. Have anybody seen these minis in their hands?
@Olli One of the older updates shows a step-by-step painting of the plastic Pride avatar. They look pretty good in comparison, but resin is always more detailed.
Am I wrong or are all the weapons of the Men of Faith package somehow bulky? Seems like they have little hard edges but this might just seem out of place because they are renders? Or are they just oversized? I still love them ^^.
@Olli Toivonen: Final miniatures will be like the production plastics photos shown.
The paintings are amazing !! Any chance to get a complete painting guide some day? I know the bases of painting but I have to admit the gradients on those are absolutely stunning and I would really love to see how it was made.
@Thiago Thanks for the quick reply. :)
@Judgement Dave: We don't know yet whether we'll be able to include the bios in one of the game components.
@QuoteStar (aka chameleonCharisma): Yes, I think we'll change Kirpan to Sikh as well.
How close the miniatures' plastic details will be compared to these resin miniatures we have seen painted? Will the quality be better or same as shown in photos of Production Plastic Models (which isn't that great, imo...)?
I really looking forward to paint these suckers up!
@Thiago @QuoteStar - Has it changed that the bio info will now be released?
Near the campaign start I believe it was said (or maybe just implied) that it wasn't being included anywhere.
Wrath controller seems simple, yet brutal... perfect imo! !!
Awesome. Best abominations so far. :)
Also, @Thiago, you mentioned Augustin's name being corrected for the release. Some people mentioned Kirpan should have been Sikh, not Hindu. Is that being changed as well?
oh, hell, yeah
Kiran looks great - and I don't think I need to say that the painted Wrath minis are also to the usual fantastic standard. Oh. I just did, I guess.
