Yo ho ho... missiles and a bottle of rum!

Now that we have a Robot trooper... how about an Officer?
When we reach $700k all backers acquiring the Build-a-Robot expansion will get the Kickstarter Exclusive Omega Launcher Officer, including his figure and card!
Fire. Power. Destruction. Those are a few words that come to mind when first glancing at Omega Launcher. Not at all a surprising reaction, seeing that he carries missiles on his chest. But don't stare for long: run for cover! Not only he gains 1 reroll for each robot upgrade level that his target has, he also can target an extra hero standing is his line of sight when rolling a CRIT.
And while Omega Launcher is for sure a scary piece of technology, do not underestimate flesh-and-bone monsters. Specially Pirates.
In a previous update we covered the heroes that so bravely decided to take down the space pirates that form the ARRRmada. If you missed that, you can check Barb and Marsh Mellow HERE.
Now, it's time to see who they're up against!
The ARRRmada is a ruthless pirate crew looking for some high-tech precious loot (and rum of course). Once their Pirate Corvette docks, and they invade the space station, mayhem begins! For every Quest completed by a Hero when the pirates are on the Space Station, a Pirate Assault card is triggered, wounding and dazing heroes, as well as moving them around against their will, exhausting upgrades, and making gadgets disappear from the board.
The chaos installed would be enough reason to avoid these cards from triggering, but they're only the beginning of the pirate invasion! At the end of each scenario, the pirates will steal 1 Upgrade from the available ones for each Pirate Assault card triggered.
In order to prevent these baddies from stealing all the goods, the best solution is to tackle them down as soon as one of them enters the Space Station, while making sure that the other crews don't complete all the Quests and win the scenario. So let's identify them one by one.
Boneheads are the most common type of pirates. They may not be strongest or the smartest of enemies, but they compensate that in numbers. Whenever a Bonehead rolls 3 hits, another one is immediately spawned.
Jolly Jocks are troopers just like Boneheads. Except they're stronger. And smarter. And can better defend themselves. No wonder they have the Boneheads following them around. When Jolly Jock rolls a CRIT while defending, a Bonehead is spawned on the board.
Dog Watch is somewhat lazy when it comes to accomplishing tasks. Not that he leaves anything unfinished, but he constantly tries to find someone else to do that for him. Boneheads usually (they're so easy to convince!). Whenever he rolls a CRIT a Bonehead is spawned.
Despite the less than charming personality, Crabby Meg is one of the bests in the piracy business. Taking advantage of his natural predator skills, he can smell weakened heroes from miles away. If the target hero is wounded, Crabby Meg rolls +1 dice for each wound, and if he manages to kill the hero, a pirate assault is triggered.
Wet Willy shows no mercy. Why would he? It is not part of the ARRRmada rules. In fact, his biggest pleasure is to take down members of the Starcadian Alliance and take over Space Stations. If present on the board when a Hero dies, he heals 1 wound, triggers a Pirate Assault card, and spawns Bonehead, Jolly Jock, and Dog Watch next to him.
The ARRRmada expansion is part of the Space Marauders pledge, which includes all monsters listed above, as well as the exclusive officer Crackin' Jim.
For Starcadia… and Beyond!
