These little robots certainly aim to misbehave!
Starcadians, report in!
With the recent release of the Build-a-Robot expansion, we've been swarmed by little robotic companions, roaming around and causing havoc to our system, trying to get out and explore the galaxy. As we have a trio of them getting very impatient, we better announce them and let them loose:
For $12, the Kickstarter Exclusive Companion Pack Optional Buy brings 3 full new Robot Companions, comprised of 3 Top Parts and 3 Bottom Parts. These offer even more options when playing with the Build-a-Robot expansion, since all Robot Parts are interchangeable!
The Over robot part has a strong bond to its allies, being triggered whenever one of them is killed. The Dot robot part quickly rolls to the aid of its crew, healing characters' wounds.
The Side robot part feeds off of anything it can find to execute its functions. It consumes Gadgets and VP tokens it finds around in order to trigger its ability. The Kick robot part, on the other hand, is great at giving your gear some extra life by unexhausting multiple Boost upgrades.
The Star robot part is always ready to sound the danger alarm and jump to action when an enemy enters its tile. The Tron robot part uses its many wheels to great effect in fetch quests, grabbing Gadgets and VP tokens on the board and bringing them to its allies.
The Space Marauders got a little restless with the pitter patter of tiny robot feet, so let's add a daring leader with no problems shooting space pirates. ...politely.
When we reach $570k all backers with a Space Marauders pledge will get the Kickstarter Exclusive hero Donald, including his figure and card!
Donald is nothing without his crew. Well, that's being a bit harsh, but it's when he's side by side with his friends that things get really shiny! As long as his crew mate is within his line of sight, he gains an extra 2 Rerolls for all of his rolls.
But let's not stop there. A Stretch Goal every 10k! Let's do this!
When we reach $580k all backers acquiring the Build-a-Robot expansion during this campaign will also get this Kickstarter Exclusive Nano-Dash, comprised of 2 Robot parts and 2 Robot cards for you to combine with all the others!
The Nano Robot Part is always watchful, being triggered whenever an ally rolls a Crit on a Defense roll. Meanwhile the Dash Robot Part uses its many arms and powerful drive to grab and drag to its vicinity a variable number of enemies it can see.
And don't forget! Tonight we'll have our Live Play Through of Starcadia Quest!
Be sure to tune in to the CMON Facebook page tonight at 7:30 PM EST to watch and get a chance to win a Space Oddities pledge level!
