Starcadians, report in!

We're almost reaching 500k and unlocking the Plastic Dashboard Trays to all backers.

Yesterday we finished our look into the Starcadia Quest core box heroes.

And now... surprise, surprise, the ARRRmada heroes are not happy about that, and want some spotlight themselves! So why not show them some appreciation?

Since the Starcadian Treaty Against Intergalactic Piracy, Wet Willy's life became much harder. Not that it was easy before. After all, piracy was considered a crime since ancient times. Still, the amount of fiscalization increased drastically, and being a sky dog wasn't as exciting as it used to be. Then, it came the war. With the Starcadian Alliance joining forces to battle Thorne, who would notice a pirate's actions here and there? Unfortunately for Wet Willy, 2 Heroes did noticed, and it's time they are properly introduced.

As a method actress, is expected of Barb to immerse herself in the characters that she portraits. She learned how to fight, handle guns, and it is very good in ad-libbing deep action sentences to her enemies. She may have pushed too far though when she decided to actually grab a gun and fight Thorne. However, those many years of training paid off, as she proved herself to be one of the most skilled and restless fighters. If her attack kills an enemy, she may attack again.

Marsh Mellow is one hero to be avoided, and although he convinced that is is due to his great combat abilities, it actually has nothing to do with it. Don't get it wrong, Marsh Mellow is very able... but his toughness is his scariest characteristic.... or lack of it, in this case. Any attack directed to Marsh Mellow will either harm him, or bounce right at the attacker, dazing them instantly!

Finally the heroes in ARRRmada feel just like part of the group! In the future, we should explore more about the nasty monsters and pirates.

But before we wrap this up, how about more Optional Buys?

We have 2 items that have been requested a few times now in the campaign!

For $22, this Optional Buy gives you 97 high quality engraved and colored plastic tokens to replace cardboard Gadgets, Victory Points, Portals, and Quest tokens.

And, for $5, the Wound Token Pack Optional Buy gives you 30 3D Wound tokens to replace the cardboard ones!

For Starcadia… and Beyond!

The plastic tokens have always been a kind of meh upgrade to me. Nothing wrong with cardboard ones to be honest.

I'm a little disappointed that the team dice are extra add ons though. In both the original AQ and AQ Inferno campaigns, backers got a set for free with their pledge. Not that some players wouldn't still want to buy the bundles to get full sets, but it would have been nice to get those free extra ones as well.

If you purchase the plastic token add-on and the new Robot expansion, do you get plastic tokens for that expansion also? It would be weird to have some plastic and some cardboard tokens.

To add on or not to add on? :p

@Maximilian. Why is it disappointing though? You just saved yourself five bucks!

I have so many wound tokens laying around. I have to worry that me dog doesn’t eat them. Very disappointing, that you use the same tokens.

Oooo... Plastic bling! If I were an Amaze-on, I would say it's the best thing ever!

Barb Wire, or some other character mishmash?

YEEEEESSSS! I love the Plastic Token Upgrade Packs for CMON games. I REALLY wish they had tried to do the same with Cthulhu Death May Die, and NO, the tentacle tokens are reprints from The Others 7 Sins. This is my most anticipated upgrade option. It really brings the quality of all the other contents together. THANKS CMON!

On the plus side, the wound tokens appear to be cheaper here than online/retail atm...

These wound tokens look to be a different shade of red maybe? Also, huge missed opportunity to make some 8 bit hearts. Just my 2¢

Great plastic tokens. Dissapointed on the wound token addon. Inferno got, guild dice, damnation tokens, guild tokens, plastic coins, heart tokens, death tokens, and a lot more as stretch goals. I guess you need to cut corners to make more money somehow, so I do not blame you. I guess the awesome days of Bloodrage, Inferno, and Rising Sun are over and its increasingly going into the nickle and dime arena.

Autocorrect fun today, first Pee-Axe (and my Pee-Axe!) now "restless fighters" ;-)

      --> relentless?

      All in good fun ;-D

The wound tokens look identical to those previously released (and since, readily available), so how are they KSE- just a packaging change?

      Yes, plastic token's very nice.

@Isadora, is the Plastic Token Pack will be as the picture, or will it be more like Inferno, I mean, color reverse ¿
