I see a black die and I want it painted red!

Hail Savages!

One more Stretch Goals have been unlocked, giving backers an extra set of Terrain Tiles!

And we're very close to unlocking a mighty Prince:

By the way, we forgot to post the picture of the painted version of the Um'Cordu Prince figure, so here it is, painted by Angel Giraldez (always note, figures come unpainted):

A wise man once said: "You can never have too many dice".

For $8 this Kickstarter Exclusive Optional Buy gives you 6 Red Dice. These have the same design as the dice included in the base pledge, but while those dice are black, these will be red. This extra set of dice can be used so each player can roll their own set, without having to pass dice back and forth when attacking and defending.

If you're interested in purchasing this optional buy, please just click the "Manage Your Pledge" button on the HATE Kickstarter page and in the pledge manager add $8. We'll sort out what your extra money is going towards after the campaign has closed and we've sent out our Pledge Manager.

Unleash your HATE!

I'm much more excited now that I made my order!
FYI while I think the atmosphere of the game and style leads itself to a very monochromatic color scheme to represent the barren wasteland of Hate, when it comes to my miniatures, I'll be painting them with a lot more diverse color scheme, while keeping it brutal. I mean, it's okay that everything is brown and steel, but with miniatures, it can get stepped up!

What are the sides of the dice? Is it 2 Hits, 2 Saves, 1 Savagery, and 1 Wild?

@ Is Awesome - Also, we are paying $120 just for the base game (before any stretch goals are applied). I think a separate set of attack dice for the core game at that price is a must. If this actually went to retail resulting in not gaining the stretch goals, I would be upset not having the extra dice acquired via stretch goals.

@ Is Awesome - The second set of six black dice's main objective, which is stated directly on the stretch goal is so you can play two battles simultaneously with the now included extra game board (which our group will be playing this way). This means you have six dice per battle, which again goes back to the fundamental flaw of not having a separate set for attack and defense in order to compare the results to one another without having to notate what the attacker rolled first. I think the red set of six dice should be added to the core game as the attacker's dice, and I think you should also gain another set of red dice in the extra dice stretch goal in order to have the second simultaneous battle also have their set of both attack and defense dice.

You are already getting 12 dice, this is a option.

The prince is definitely awesome. :)

The prince is awesome, but I'm with Corey on this add on.

      @Corey Hastings
Not to mention that previous CMON games like Arcadia Quest have enough dice to deal with attack & defense without passing dice. The difference here is though that they couldn't get away with that, since they went with different dice for attack and defense instead of combined ones.
Then again looking at Zombicide Kickstarters I wouldn't be surprised if another color becomes an free stretch goal at some point.

@Is Awesome - Cheap or not, if it is a fundamental flaw, it should be included. You should never have to roll for attack, note your results, roll for defense, and match those to the notes. Besides that, there are a TON of add-ons. $8 adds up when you are more or less forced to spend money on other optional buys (like the tribes) for a game that will NEVER hit retail because you will never be able to purchase those in the future. So $8 for a something that should have been included in the core game due to mechanics just seems wrong.

Quote: "This extra set of dice can be used so each player can roll their own set, without having to pass dice back and forth when attacking and defending."

This seems like a fundamental flaw of the game. Why would there not already be enough dice for both sides to roll and compare results? The red dice should already exist in the game. In fact, the red dice should be used by the attacker with the black dice being used by the defender. That just makes way more sense, and again, it should have already been implemented in the game, not provided as an optical buy. This is the only time I do not agree with the optional buy being optional.

Since you added the extra terrain and board for two more players to play at the same time, please also add 8 more black dice to the base game. Having 4 players fight over a small set of dice isn't something to look forward to.

    15. Qumad on January 29

@Antonio, if you'r going to play 4 players at a time, then you might want the red dice as well

I mean every backer already has a set of 12 black dice with the stretch goal soooo yeah I was just about to do it because it’s my favorite color but I just realized we get 12 already
