Join the Hive that is the Tribe of Um'Rak!
Hail Savages!
As we make our way across the Wastes, how about we get to know better another of the tribes already included in the HATE core box?

It was an age where men took their rare pleasures from grisly spectacles. Even a woman’s embrace offered little refuge against a dying world. Savage games for a savage people. The crowd drew strength from their champions, and imagined themselves standing high atop corpses heaped at their feet. Bread and sport kept the mob distracted, though bread remained a fantasy.
When their champions fell, coin was lost, and sometimes lives, but new champions arose, new illusions with which to beguile themselves. For those chiefs willing to risk the dusty wilderlands, and the forests caught in eternal fall, and the plains baked under a capricious sun, champions were to be found. Only the mighty or skilled could tame these beasts, these titans.
For the crowds: such extravagance! Such glory! Their minds soared to heights they could never reach with their weakling bodies and feeble ways. For a time, they’d forget their grumbling bellies, and retell the tale, with great embellishment, as if they’d had any part beyond another voice in the crowd.
Yet for some, the tale needed no embroidery, no exaggeration. For some, the game became reality.

The Tribe of Um'Rak are a tightly-knit group of savages, centered around their mighty Prince. On the battlefield they move like a hive-minded band of angry men, swarming over their opponents.

The main characteristic of the Um'Rak is their ability to make concentrated attacks and moves. Keeping allies together and forging ahead as a unit can give an extreme advantage to the tribe that knows how to pull it off. Warriors and Champions naturally have the Support skill, which means having allies surrounding your target makes it a breeze to bring them down, and having your attacker distracted by flanking members of your tribe can save your life. Plus, if you were to fall in battle, it's always good to have allies nearby to protect your limp body. Unless the enemy can break their deadly formations, the Um'Rak Tribe is unstoppable.

Let's explore all members of this tribe.

The Um'Rak Shaman uses his mystic spells like a true warrior. He's able to give Support to allies up to 3 spaces away, contributing to their attacks, or distracting enemies trying to attack them.

And lastly, let's look at what this figures can look like when painted. These miniatures were painted by Robert Karlsson. As always, keep in mind that the figures will come unpainted.

Sad that the young bloods only wear melee weapons but no ranged ones (not even throwing knives) ... or do this youngbloods no ranged attacks?
