Hail Savages!

The Um'Gorr tribe has managed to gather all its Warriors!

Our friend Leo from Mythic Games is in Ireland to promote his Time of Legends game, and he offered us some of his time at the Beasts of War event to show a prototype of HATE. This is an example of the great friendships forged in the boardgaming industry, which is why we love it so much. Check out the video below for his impressions and comments on the game.

Let's again take a short break from the Um'Gorr tribe to continue upgrading the game components:

When we reach $585k we will replace the 20 Resource cardboard tokens in the Hate core box for these amazing 3D plastic ones! Resources never looked so good. Yummy!

After that, let's unlock a mighty (and mighty dangerous) mercenary:

When we reach $635k all backers will get the fearsome Tun'Dor - The Shamed - including his huge figure and Mercenary card!

Tun'Dor, the Shamed, didn't get his title for nothing. This fearsome mercenary is a Varn, a member of the gigantic higher race, and he was once the Prince of his own tribe. That is, until he consumed them all in a terrifying fit of blind rage! Now he roams the land in shame. A powerful, yet extremely dangerous potential ally.

Any tribe should be wary of recruiting Tun'Dor to their midst. If he can keep a level head, this behemoth is a devastating leader of men, being able to reactivate allies by simply spending Savagery. Be careful not to keep too close to him when he attacks, though. If he rolls a pair of Wild results, he goes on one of his fits of rage, automatically knocking out the figure closest to him, and allies tend to take the blow first!

Ears are the best bits, nice and crispy; but I guess it is fun to bite someone else's nails rather than your own.

Hands ? I was kind of expecting heads or skulls.

Seeing these paint jobs almost makes me want to just burn all my paint brushes -- almost.

Loving Tun'Dor - one of my favorite Varn so far.

I'd like to second the request for the graphic novels as an addon. I've got them in PDF form (via drivethru), but it'd be nice to have physical copies as well.

Madre mía qué gore!!! Manos cortadas para representar contadores... jejejeje

A ver si hay suerte y se cortan con los desnudos lo mismo que con los desmembramientos, que parece que enseñar una teta o una polla sea pecado mortal.

@Skolo: Not exactly sure yet. We'll need to test to see what feels right. They'll be small tokens. I imagine not much bigger than 2cm long. Should make for a nice little pile of severed hands.

Really LOVE Rhode 3D resource tokens!!! Something else from just the token but then in plastic :D makes it look that much more gruesome as well :)

@CMON: how big are those hands?

Also great miniature, and love to see some more background. Is there any way you can make the comics an addon?
