Conceived by renowned game designer Paolo Mori, Dogs of War is an elegant game set in a steampunk-influenced renaissance universe. Noble houses engage each other in a series of fierce battles, and it is up to the players and the Dogs of War they control to deploy their private armies in support of whatever house they wish to favour.
Players take to the battlefield as one of the Dogs of War! As Captains of their own private army, each Dog of War has a special ability that will help them win influence, battles, or betray the house they've sworn allegiance to!
Dogs of War is not a game of pure military power, but rather a game where deception and betrayal often lead the way to a decisive victory. The goal for the Dogs of War is to earn the most power by the end of the game. Thanks to thoughtful game design and development, there are many ways to achieve this, like defeating other Captains in battle, getting rewards from the Houses you help, amassing gold and troops and, most importantly, gaining influence with the most successful Houses.
Each game of Dogs of War lasts about an hour and is designed for 3 to 5 players.
Our Friends at Jogando Offline sat down and tried out Dogs of War! Watch the Jogando Offline team struggle to take control of the land of Gravos by secretly playing the houses against each other. Who will gain enough influence and victories to rule the land of Gravos from the shadows?

Shipping information - Please take note
Based on past experience, we will be charging shipping after the Kickstarter concludes based on the actual costs incurred to ship. We will collect this via our pledge manager after the campaign concludes.
This is so we can be fair to all our backers as shipping is rarely one size fits all, and also give you more stretch goodies and possibly a choice of carrier options.
We will ship your rewards at our cost to our international hubs. Depending on where in the world you are, we will either ship you from our hub in Germany (EU backers), China (Asia Pacific backers), Canada (Canadian backers), or Atlanta (USA and the rest of the world). As a rough estimate, the game will cost about $10 to ship in the USA, about $19-$24 in the EU (due to VAT), and $10 to Hong Kong all the way up to $39 for Australia, but this may increase or decrease based on the quantity of stretch goals we might unlock and your carrier choices.
Beyond getting Dogs of War at a discounted price, backers will also receive all the stretch goals we manage to unlock as we hit bigger and bigger funding milestones.

Risks and challenges
This is our 10th Kickstarter, and there are some vagaries in terms of timing when it comes to anything produced in China, such as:
We've done our best to minimize this as much as possible, and we are always happy to refund pledges if for some totally unforeseen reason the game can't be delivered at all. Since the game is 95% complete, we don't believe this is in the least bit likely - we've successfully delivered Zombicide, Sedition Wars, Guilds of Cadwallon, Zombicide Season 2 (first wave), Rivet Wars (first wave), we are currently shipping Kaosball, Zombicide Season 2 (second wave), and will begin shipping Relic Knights soon.
We have two ongoing projects currently: Wrath of Kings, which is entering the final part of production, and Arcadia Quest, which is currently in production.
Please refer to our individual project pages if you'd like to check the progress there. Each project is entirely independent of each other and have completely different development teams and have no effect on the production flow or development of Dogs of War.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
