Hail Brothers and Sisters!

We’re pleased to share this announcement from Dized for their great Blood Rage tutorial!

Last year, we brought word of Blood Rage heading to Dized, an interactive companion app that teaches you board games as you play. Now, Dized is available in open early access on iOS and Android. Watch their announcement trailer here:

Once downloaded, you can register for a free account and launch the interactive tutorial for Blood Rage that takes you from unboxing to Glory. And, coming soon, you can expect to see interactive Rules and FAQ that are great for new and veteran players alike.

We understand that most of you are experts by this point, but Dized is a great way to introduce new players to the game. Once the app is officially published, the amount of content is expected to grow fast, including for CMON titles. Download the app, set up a game night with some friends, and introduce them to Blood Rage through Dized.

I think at least the 5th player option should be added. Since what if someone picks up the game and the 5th player since they have a group of 5 and wanted to try it out. Just to make their first setup easier.

This is a really good idea. Great way to learn the game.

Are you planning to add Massive Darkness and Rum & Bones to Dized?

I don't think it needs to be updated to include extensions or KS exclusives. I believe the idea behind the Dized is not to provide you with an exhaustive hand-book for the game, but rather to provide you with easy to digest intro/tutorial. I'd say it's not something you'd use every time you play the game, it's rather something you'd use just once (maybe twice) to learn the game. So teaching just the basic game is perfectly fine in this case, since expansions (or KS exclusives) do not really change the game mechanics (much or at all) - it's just more stuff (more monsters, cards, etc). Some of the game expansions (e.g. Gods of Asgard) do change the rules, but if you're familiar with the base game already (which is what Dized can be useful for), it won't be hard at all to learn those minor changes to the base game rules. You get the point.

@Belisarius - Rising Sun is currently in development. But Blood Rage is an older game, so they've had more time to work on that tutorial.

Hopefully, there will be a version with the extensions and the KSE

I would have thought Rising Sun was more appropriate for this kind of thing - hopefully soon

Are any of the expansions going to be added to the video? Or is the video just going to be base game only?

      This is awesome!

It's very well done and should be very helpful to those who don't know the game yet. The entire idea behind this stuff is great, IMO (I'm not sure how much I'm going to be using it myself, to be honest, but again - it's just great for the hobby in general and especially for introducing new people to it). Let's hope more publishers picks it up and it becomes a standard.

P.S. I found voicing to be pretty cool and enjoyable actually. I don't find it to be over the top and/or annoying. But even if it was, it'd still be much better this way than if it was some monotonous voicing that puts you into sleep :)

The voicing is so over the top and annoying.
