To celebrate the onset of spring, Club Lyfestile, a Philadelphia-based DIY dance collective, is recreating Serge Diaghilev’s revolutionary 1913 ballet “The Rite of Spring.” This project entails composing an electronic version of Stravinksy’s original score, reworking Nijinsky’s original choreography, building sets, and making costumes for 20 participants.

The performance will take place on April 29th in the courtyard of the Maas Building in Kensington and will feature additional acts and an afterparty.
