Where are we now?

Status-wise, all current 50+ pilot clients are smoothly running on the cloudyBoss beta platform. The cloudyBoss team is inviting crowd-funding to join its next exciting smart enterprising journey.

How will the funds collected be reinvested?

The funds collected through this crowd-funding campaign will be reinvested predominantly locally where they’ve been raised with a view to refine the cloudyBoss platform for its broad commercial roll-out. More specifically, funds will be used to:

• produce educational market content tailored to the local market from where the funds were raised

• enhance embedded self-education features and manuals in the cloudyBoss back-end tailored to the local market/language

• engage with the local business market across all sectors via co-creative hot challenges from 2016 onwards

• strengthen the local network of certified partners via training events and other joint activities

• establish cloudyBoss local subsidiaries where the size of the market and client base justify it

Risks and challenges

Our main challenges are as follow:

1. Content | The main challenge is workload for both translations in all languages and production of compelling video or graphical education material. cloudyBoss has native multilingual features which greatly help in quickly publishing in many languages. The amount of original content to be produced is nevertheless considerable and we’ve decided to execute in 4 stages:
• firstly, beyond UX/UI, we are defining new communication semantics pertinent to a 21st century context (more intuitiveness and essential text only)
• secondly, we are prioritizing content material for countries with local crowd-funding capabilities (currently 20+ languages)
• thirdly, we will extend to 50 languages which represent over 90% of the global population
• lastly, we will work with local partners to add 150 more languages to reach 99.9% of the planet by mid-2016

2. Certified Partners network: we anticipate that our current global network of certified partners will quickly reach saturation based on current demand levels. We are therefore accelerating our partner certification program and researching new ways to optimize its delivery (ideally online only) without compromising the quality and depth of education. Supply-wise, while our NEXT product supply is unrestrained, we are limiting the quantity of HORIZON licences to maintain high product quality while scaling-up our supply of managed services and implementation support by first half of 2016 to enhance outputs

3. On-premises implementations: for the same supply constraint reasons mentioned above, we’ll initially only commercialize a cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) version of the cloudyBoss platform as on-premises implementations are typically more demanding and resource-intensive. We’ll gauge and re-evaluate the need for the provision of on-premises licenses toward the second half of 2016, based on market demand and certified partner network structure at that time
