Dogs of Combat for iOS
A competitive game about skill and accuracy. The front lines in the palms of your hands. Help bring it to iOS!
If this campaign can get at least 200 backers each pledging $25, this project can be brought to life!
Dogs of Combat starts with the language selection, English or Japanese.
You are then taken to the main menu, where you can go online, go to the store, or view some info about the game. When you connect online, you are taken to the lobby.
Since Dogs of Combat uses a room-based system, the lobby shows a list of available rooms, but you can also create your own room.
When creating a room, you can name your room anything you like as long as it's shorter than 24 characters. You can also choose how many players can be in your room (min. 2, max. 8) as well as the room's map and game mode.
When you're in your room, wait for players in join, and the match can begin. Matches are 3 minutes long, and the player with the most points at the end of a match (if the match is a Free For All match) wins.

- PlayStation Mobile Legend - Dogs of Combat was one of the best games on the PlayStation Mobile platform, getting 4 out of 5 stars. It was also the first true online first-person shooter for the platform.
- Bring this legend to the App Store - Without your help, Dogs of Combat can't be ported to iPhone and iPad.
- Rewards! Rewards! Rewards! - Backers get amazing rewards based on their pledge amounts! What's better than backing this project AND getting your own iPad sleeve (I can't think of anything better)?
- Show your support - Dogs of Combat may be small, but you can help it become big by backing this project.
My name is Jake Bayer. I'm a 17-year old independent game developer. I've been working with computers since elementary school, but haven't started programming regularly until the age of 13. Besides game design, I'm part of a robotics team as a programmer and I have a passion of helping people in my community. I live with 3 other family members. In my free time, I help out with a Boy Scout troop, compete in robotics competitions, and help my family around the house.

How will the funding be used?
The money raised on this Kickstarter will help me give gamers all around the world a game that's fun and easy to play. What is put into the campaign can help start development on the iOS port of Dogs of Combat. Items needed include Apple hardware, a Unity Pro license upgrade, software licenses, and an Apple Developer License. Part of the money raised will help me do the most important task of the project: ship my rewards to my awesome backers!
Risks and challenges
A provider has already been selected for the rewards. Once the campaign ends, I will start working on porting Dogs of Combat to iOS. One of the challenges I face as an indie game developer is that I'm younger than the average game designer.
There are always chances that getting all the hardware and software might cause some delays in development and getting the builds to beta testers. The possibility of Apple rejecting the game can also contribute to this. But, there's one thing to remember: businesses, especially rookie companies like Closed Umbrella Games, run into obstacles all the time, and you have to overcome them to be successful.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
