Dump The Trump is a card game. It's also a party game. But it's not like ordinary games. Playing it, you will have to let go of your deepest convictions and forget what you thought you valued in life.
It doesn't matter if you're Donald Trump and trying to eliminate Congress or are playing a Senator that puts away an innocent colleague. It is time to step up and find out how well you really know your friends, family and coworkers.
Dump The Trump is loosely based on the popular party game "Mafia". The game was designed by the Cleverclip team. To win, you will have to bring your A-game, think strategically and pull out your best tricks. Because that is the only way you will be able to distinguish between true and false, real and fake news.

Origin Story
On November 9, 2016, we probably weren’t the only ones rubbing our eyes in disbelief: Donald Trump had won? And would become the president of the United States?
To be quite honest, today we’re still rubbing our eyes, as we don’t fully understand what happened in the last few months. During all this time, we were sitting far, far away in Switzerland and trying to make sense of it all. The whole team at our design agency Cleverclip was clueless as to how to explain these super weird events.
Luckily, explaining complex stuff is what we do all day, as our company focuses on the creation of explainer videos for clients. Therefore, we went ahead and tried to explain it all by producing a video. For our own understanding – but also for others. Anyhow, that didn’t work so well. We realized that we needed to dive into the situation ourselves and feel what it actually means to lie and bullshit your way to the top.
So, we made a game out of it: Dump The Trump. In it, you slip into the roles of Donald Trump, his supporters – or a Senator. To win, you must master the art of lying. And guess what: It worked! Full disclosure: We added a little drama to make the game more fun. The result is a cool and fun party game – that’s hopefully also educational. And since we cannot do anything against the insanity that is US politics, we might as well laugh about it.
Risiken und Herausforderungen
To be completely honest, we don't really see what could go wrong here. The design is finished, the printing of the cards will be handled by a professional producer and the logistics are taken care of by Amazon (you might have heard of them?).
Obviously, we cannot completely rule out delays in the production or shipping process. In this case, we would immediately send out a notice to our backers.
