Rob Faludi from Digi

Last night I spoke to the man who's made the XBee so popular in the hacker community, Rob Faludi

It seems little EVE is getting liked far and wide, which is way cool. He mentioned that Digi are about to release a 28 mile range radio that will work in EVE. This opens yet more possibilities of how such a system could be used. Now changing channel on your sky box at this distance isn't going to be anything but fun, but imagine perhaps interconnected communities where floods are common, the emergency services could be in constant view of at risk places.

Something I saw a while back that Rob was involved with I'm sure many will love was 400 LED lit balloons across Hadrians wall in Scotland.
