To ensure that the Sleep Tracker only collects your data - there are some recommendations:
1. Angle the device towards your body

3. When setting up the device - lay down on your side of the bed and select auto-calibrate and set distance (there will be a mobile app UI walkthrough to make this a seamless experience). You will need to re-calibrate if you change the position of the Sleep Tracker.

The Circadia Sleep Tracker is 98% accurate for respiration monitoring when compared to polysomnography (PSG), the gold-standard for clinical sleep assessment. The sleep staging accuracy is up to 91% as compared to a fitness tracker which is at best 18% accurate in comparison to sleep lab data. This makes the Circadia Sleep Tracker the most advanced sleep tracker in the world.
Our testing was conducted on 14 healthy individuals between 35-45 years of age. The baseline was Polysomnography (PSG) the gold-standard in medical sleep testing. The variables compared were respiratory events and sleep staging (as scored by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine).
