Out of Time but Not Forgotten

Hello, everyone. Thank you so much for taking this journey with Brooke and me. We ran out of time and were not fully funded, but we will try again.  We realize we need to build more momentum with Brooke's Art.

She has expressed an interest in cooking so you may see us doing cooking in the future as well as art.

We appreciate everyone who contributed in the early stages

Good News & a Gift 4 U

Hello to everyone who has been helping us build momentum about Carl. The cutest illustration project on the planet. I wanted to give you an update on what's been going on with Brooke's art. We are so excited to share that her art will be featured in the rooms of children who are getting newly designe rooms on Ovation TV Network's ( @OvationTV ), Motor City Rising.  The show is filmed in Detroit Michigan. Professional Designer, Treger Strasberg ( @smtreger ) of Humble Design www.humbledesign.org provides her design expertise (with her staff of course) to families who are coming out of transition or have been homeless. She receives gently used furniture and more for the home and uses it to help those who have been on a waiting list for a home. Brooke's art will be used in the children's rooms.  We are so excited about this opportunity for Brooke. We also were able to get Brooke's art into Zuhg Life Store www.zuhgmusic.com at the Westfield Mall, Downtown Sacramento.

Brooke's personal story: Brooke just turned 8 years old. She is a vibrant spunky kid who has had some challenges but that doesn't stop us artistically from discovering new art.  The technology from the cellular phone gave Brooke an opportunity to express herself and create with her own pictures. You can also read Brooke's story at our website www.chrystalflanders.com

We thank everyone who has pledge so far and we ask that you continue tweeting and sharing our link with friends http://kck.st/N1pS89 @chrystalflander

Here is a neat picure of a Bortax, Brooke would like to share. If you turn him upside, he looks feline.
