"River Swimmer"
Hi Friends,
I'm thrilled you're here. Many of you have been following me on this long wild journey the last 10 years and I'm thankful for that. I've been releasing music since 2009. Two full length albums and two EP's to date. Over the past couple of years I've been carefully crafting songs for my first full length release since 2012. The working title is "River Swimmer". I'm ready to get into the studio so you can hear what I've been up to.
I'll be traveling to Nashville, TN in mid May to collaborate with producer and musician Dexter Green. Dexter has worked with a long list of artists whom I admire: Caitlin Rose, Sunny Sweeney, Jason Isbelle, The Hardworking Americans, Kelly Willis and Elizabeth Cook to name a few. I'm excited to get into a creative space together and see what happens. Some of the tracking will be done at Sound Emporium, the rest will be up to the producer's discretion.
The money that I'm looking to raise here will go towards these costs:

I've used Kickstarter once before in 2011 to fund the pressing of my last full length "Drought". I asked for 3k and raised over that amount. The rest of my releases including "Drought" have been self funded through waiting tables, catering funerals, summer camp councilor, making hummus and of course playing music. It's a difficult and humbling experience to ask for such generosity but I'm at a point in my career where I need to make an album like this and I need you to help me do it. It's an investment in my artistic future that I must see through. Any amount you can give is a sum I'll be grateful for.

Risks and challenges
The wheels are set in motion for this project. The studio time is booked, the pre-production has begun, the travel plans are in place. I'm more than ready mentally and emotionally to make this album. The risk that I'm taking is on the generosity of you folks. Any delay's or changes in plans will be fully communicated along the way. You will receive your rewards in a timely manner once the album is complete.
