In the follow-up issue to the smash-hit, best-selling comic book Magnus The Brave, we join Magnus as he approaches the great city on the horizon...
Darkness has fallen on the once great city of Pholkos. Magnus, fresh off of his victory over General Gorath and his demon horde, finds himself in the shadow of the walled city...
...or perhaps, in the shadow of something far more sinister.
Unbeknownst to Magnus The Brave, an evil unlike any he has yet faced awaits his arrival. He has come in search of answers and will do whatever it takes to find them. What are these powers he possesses? Why does he have them, and who or what is on the other side of this coin?
Magnus will need to rely on his instincts if he is to survive the dangers awaiting him in Pholkos.
Magnus The Brave is a comic book series created, penciled, inked, colored and lettered by Chris Rau.
The series is written, story-boarded and outlined by Ace Nuckolls.
One of the things that makes Magnus unique, is the Art style. All panel images begin as hand-drawn pencil and inks created by Chris. He then meticulously digitally-colors them.
This project began as a simple, fun idea between Chris and Ace that has since exploded into a massively popular indie comic series. Now that Magnus The Brave has found its footing, both Ace and Chris are excited for readers to see the universe open up. This issue will take readers deeper into Magnus' world of colorful allies and vicious villains while still maintaining it's action-packed, bloody style.
If you are new to the series, Magnus The Brave is a mix of Conan The Barbarian and Samurai Jack, with a little Borderlands and Thor sprinkled in. Magnus is essentially a super-powered, lone warrior barbarian in search of answers in a world of crazy locations, wild monsters, scary villains, interesting allies, and chaotic gruesome battles.
In order to cover our printing, production and shipping costs, we need to raise $1,800.

Risks and challenges
The book is about 75% finished at the moment. Once the campaign funds, there will be a 3-4 week period where the book will need to be finalized, printed, delivered, packaged up and shipped out.
My goal is to have this to everyone by October 2019. There are always possible hiccups along the way, but we have a track record of delivering our products on schedule. This should be no different.
